    Attach the speed sensor to the rear wheel. Better for getting data for the indoor trainer plus Zwift.

    Hi Magene. why my s3+ in cadence mode behave like this? if stop pedalling for few seconds the cadence reading will disappear or sometime if i pedal very slowly, it seems it will read 30RPM then disappear. and when i start pedalling, the reading always start from 30RPM. i think it is not accurate.

      Dear customer, the S3+ Speed/ Cadence sensor support Bluetooth and ANT+. In theory, S3+ can be connected to GPS watch , but whether the GPS watch can support dual protocols and display the data, I suggest you to ask the customer service of the GPS watch.

    Does it matter how high or low in the crank arm i put the cadence sensor? Does it affect reading accuracy?

    • @MageneOfficial
      @MageneOfficial  Před 2 lety +3

      Dear Casually Cycling, How high or low the sensor is installed on the crank arm does not affect the accuracy of the data reading.

      Hi Gaz! You don't have to remove it or anything, the sensor will automatically enters sleep mode after 60 seconds of inactivity and wakes up when motion is detected.

    tough to connect to it via bluetooth, im not happy with my purchase, only data i can pull from it on cadence mode using the magene Utility app is the mode which is cadence, rounds per minute, and battery. there is no statistical data just live reading of rpm, this is utterly useless to me... i want to see statistical long term data.......

      Dear Aril,
      1. Locate the circular battery cover.
      2. Twist the cover counter-clockwise until the marker points to unlocked and the cover is loose enough to remove. (When replacing the battery, you can use a sharp object such as a blade to help pick out the battery)
      3. Remove the cover and the battery.
      4. Wait 30 seconds.
      5. Insert the new battery into the cover, observing polarity. The battery model is CR2032.

    Will the sensor measure speed too if I place it on the crank? (when set to speed mode of course)

    • @MageneOfficial
      @MageneOfficial  Před 2 lety +2

      Dear Vale Barrera, thank you so much for your interest in Magene. The sensor needs to be installed in the center of the wheel in speed mode and installed on the crank in cadence mode. If the sensor is installed on the crank in speed mode, the recorded data will be inaccurate.
