Phenomenal Music ! The hand tells you what she is doing with her voice. Most of the people who learn classical Hindustani Music do that.
Even classical Carnatic singers do such movements but their other hand too show taal (tempo) of music.

She definitely would be able to carry it acapella. However, the minor arrangement in sheer numbers of musicians was great. Clearly they were super talented as-well.
