Hi. Other than actually joining the airforce, how would a person join a choir in the airforce? Tried google but cant seem to get a real answer.

@@summersolstice646 did you notice that they all have usaf uniforms on with real officers ranks on their sleeves and real medals?? This is what these Air Force personnel do for their job in the Air Force. And no you cannot join this choir without joining the Air Force. These musicians are the cream of the crop and it is very hard to competitive to be accepted in this group. They represent our country wherever they go and you can see the pride in the way they carry themselves and perform. It is an honor to serve our country especially in this group.

As a retired Air Force Veteran, I couldn't be prouder. "My Air Force". Performing as separate components or united as they are in this production, always first class and uplifting. This production is very moving and heartfelt. The pure voices, integrated with the orchestra, make for a memorable performance and bring pride to all of us who have served in the Air Force. It's a year-round feeling. Why isolate it to just the holidays. Thank you, my Air Force!

I absolutely love this song and The Wailin Jennys. I have spent hours singing this song, in hard times and good times. It is so powerful. I couldn't help but cry over the beauty and power behind the United States Air Force Band. I am an Army veteran, so it is a huge honor to share the same pride for our country.

Dear folks, not just those of us from our dear USA Bit All of Us from every corner of the world .... We Are All In This Together ... This is the best use for ‘peace keeping’ organisations. I’d far rather see people with musical instruments rather than weapons in their hands, and hear them singing than shouting commands...

Truly an inspirational performance and song. Goes to show that wearing a uniform and artistry and soul can all come together. I particularly liked that the Colonel saw the assembled crowd and turned to conduct them - "One people, one voice." Maybe we can all come together as Americans again? Hope springs eternal.
I'm confident that part was planned. But yes, it was tremendous. The physical movement harmonizing with the harmonizing voices was poignant and powerful.

I love this song and its interpretation. They have wonderful voices. I want to thank you because it gives me a lot of peace and joy. I'm from madrid Spain. My father was a military pilot, Colonel of the General Staff and Head of Search and Rescue in Spain. I love the military and EVERYTHING they stand for!!!

This is a moving rendition by the USAF band. It's probably a fantasy that people of every race, religion, orientation, nationality and economic status sing as one. Build bridges...not walls.

Another spectacular performance! This song and video needs to become the rallying cry to reunite this country and heal the division that we all have seen this year. As a former military musician, I have seen the ability to touch lives and hearts through music in a way that no other venue can. I am proud to have served and I thank each of you for serving and sacrificing time away from family and friends to practice and perform throughout the year. I'm Half Chinese and Half White so I have no Race Issues Why are the Lead Singers not Black? It does not sound the same when sang by a White Alto and other Singing Parts.

Deb, I have no idea. I don’t have a template for “how it should sound” - I just know it sounded good. We cannot expect every race and color to be evenly distributed across every business, group, family, church, board, association etc in the US. Diversity to me is including all voices who show up in whatever place they show up. It’s not about counting, it’s about humanity and respect. I agree-black singers have a unique and beautiful sound-but I just appreciate what I heard.

Just now heard this moving performance, at the end of ABC Roundtable, Sunday December , 29th, 2018. Just brought tears of gratitude, and admiration, beautiful music and voices. I hope everyone takes the time to enjoy this "One Voice".

I want to say *Thank You* to all the men and women throughout the world who serve or have served in the military in order to protect the freedom of democracy. We live in challenging times and their sacrifice to protect me, my family, my friends, and my colleagues can truly only be shown with my love, prayers, and support. For those who have fallen, may your sacrifice be heard by all in remembrance, that freedom is a choice and privilege but not an absolute.

As a retired Air Force Bondsman myself I have been privileged to be a part of many moving performances, but this one beats them all.
