    The backrest is a life saver and just pops off when not needed

    This is a nice bike, I wish they still made these. I've been looking for a nice used one for awhile. I don't like the new ones.

    Sure would like to know more about the rear turn lights brand, parts numbers. I have a 09 1700 classic lt and it is difficult to find known quality accessories

    I see this is an old post, but it;'s loud pipes competing with a music system that will most likely be playing "Hotel California" over and over.

    What about the shifting issues this bike has from 1st to 2nd gear? I heard that it grinds.

    • @keithgriffin7284
      @keithgriffin7284 Před 6 lety +1

      Only grinds when you dont know how to shift gears

    • @lonniestevens7963
      @lonniestevens7963 Před 5 lety

      My never did but gears were close ratio. I didn't have to use 1st even with 2 up. Stop and go traffic.

    • @svierregger
      @svierregger Před 3 lety +1

      I have 2010 VN2000 Classic LT and shifting can "clunk" if not properly rev matched. Doesn't "grind", just "clunks" into gear if that makes sense. I've gotten used to it. My bike looks just like the one in the ad. First bike I've owned that I don't look too big on! Lol

      Use Rotella T6 oil. Gets much quieter, all specs fit Kawasaki requirements. Engine and Transmission love this oil. No clutch issues.
