      I can understand that. It's better to sneak up on it. Add a little length to your bands at a time. The hold needs to feel good and held straight as you know so go easy and it will happen.

    Do you, even slightly, have the band touch your face as an anchor/reference point?

    • @a.p.z.
      @a.p.z. Před 2 lety

      I touch everytime but pull off about 1/2" to a inch. I look.down the band insuring alignment. I have rem9ved skin a few times.

    Do You touch band into cheek while aiming?

    • @SlingshotShooters
      @SlingshotShooters  Před 2 lety +1

      Yes I touch everytime to know where I am then pull off about 1/2 or so. I follow my bands line of site through the shot.

    • @SlingshotShooters
      @SlingshotShooters  Před 2 lety +1

      Theoretically when can release while touching you cheek because the bands instantly shrink in size. I don't like skin removed.

      The rrason for the thumb facing the ground is because it feels stronger and more agile to do it with a longer stretch.
