Great video, love the fact you also buy and recommend nail products off eBay. Don’t see the point of paying large amounts of money when there’s an alternative much cheaper. Especially when there’s ppl like me just doing their own nails. 👍

You're welcome! I just ordered a 50g bottle of the powder on ebay - omg it was only $22! I was on another channel, and they were talking about the powder they use to put in paint for cars, and it's so cheap compared to a nail shop! I was so excited hehe

Just got my pigment now wipe top coat from canni and it’s brilliant iv just done 2 of these nail designs and they have come out fab a pink and a black and silver holo and pink and silver holo they look fab.. will be on instagram in a few moments .. let me know what u think when u get a min xc great video those tips really helped me so thank u

I have problem with my holo powder from born pretty, when I apply the powder it seems glitters not an holo effect, I use a no wipe top coat

So gorgeous! Is it possible to use the powders with regular gel polish without having the gel polishes u need to cure under a led or uv lamp?

Learned the hard way. Only stamp snd holo ONE nail at a time, otherwise the effect does not stay to the no wipe top coat. Ugh, and the powder isn’t to be wasted b/c of its high cost.
So if I don't have many plates with a lot of negative space could I stamp with a no wipe top coat and get the same effect?

Just tagged you in a photo of a nail I have done using your technique in this video .... And I tagged you in another decal nail design that iv done myself using advanced stamping method .... I put a few gems glitter and bits on it, but the glue spoilt the design, what glue do you use for crystals and also those little plastic holo things, as iv used nail tip glue, however it made the design look patchy and spoilt it a bit, what glue would you recommend ?? Foil glue? Iv or brush on normal glue ?? Any advice is welcomed as iv never used any of thus stuff ?? What glue would u use for glitters as well ??
When I’m applying gems & rhinestones I use normal clear Topcoat and don’t apply Topcoat over gems as they will cloud them. I use transfer foil glue to apply glitter to normal polish. Thanks for watching xoxo
Can this work on a regular top coat that has been wiped cleanse?
No, although the no wipe topcoat gives the impression there is no tackiness, there is a slight tackiness and the powder needs that something to stick to. Thanks for watching xoxo
Are there any holo powders out there that doesn't require a UV or LED lamp and that you can use just a regular top coat on or does it have to be a gel top coat?
u would need a water based top coat if u dont use a gel one.

Ramona R you need to cure the gel no wipe topcoat. 2mins under UV lamp. 30 seconds under LED lamp. If you use a regular water based topcoat you need to leave to air dry for however long it takes to air dry. Xoxo

Darling Gelulious, my friend, you can get a Quart of liquid latex at Party city for 18.99 !! abd works awesome, its also used for halloween to make creepy faces etc.
not sure if you have a similiar party place by you, if you search on their website they maje ship to you! i use it, an thin,but 2 coats looks same 1coat will work.. an that a great BUY,for US stampers.😗Love from Vegas!

I am having trouble finding a no wipe gel top coat in the store here in the US, they all seem to require having the sticky layer removed. If I do this with top coat that requires the tacky layer to be removed first, would I get the same effect? I do know that if you use matte top coat on your nails the powder won't stick so perhaps that what all us regular polish users could try. At least that's what I'm going to do. I'll report back, promise!
Bubby Dumas when you remove the tacky layer, DO NOT use alcohol. Just rub hard with a lint free wipe til it doesn't "feel" tacky, then use the powder. You need a little of the inhibition layer for the holo to stick too but not too much to where you can't burnish it smooth.
I tried stamping with matte top coat since I have seen that these powders do not adhere to matte top coat. And while that is true, using matte top coat as a stamping polish just doesn't work. If you brush it on it works great (I tested that last night, these powders will not adhere to matte polish. So I will try your suggested method with gel polish and I am also going to get a good matte polish that is a color and see if it stamps better so I can achieve this method using regular polish. IBD no wipe top coat is available in the us at Sally's and many other suppliers. There are other brands but I like it the best
