두 선수의 실력은 한끝차이 (very marginal). 세계선수권에서는 허미미 선수의 패기가 유효했다면 올림픽에서는 데구치의 관록이 유효했음. 데구치 선수가 허미미 선수의 플레이스타일을 머리 속에 완전히 담고 올림픽에 임한 게 보임. 데구치 선수가 선수권에서 이겼다면 올림픽에서는 결과가 달라졌을 수도 있었겠음.

ホミミ選手は腕力がスゴく強いけど、特に左手の握力が半端じゃないね。
中腰になって相手と身体を密着させてから、組手をキープしつつ相手の足を狩る戦法は、目から鱗が落ちるような感じがした。
ある意味私の知っている柔道の概念を超えてしまっている。全く違うスポーツに見える。
パリ五輪でも、同じ結末になりましたね。立場は出口選手と逆になりましたが・・・

The final was possibly the worst refereeing I've ever seen. Mimi just buried her nose in the mat when Deguchi dominated grips. Getting the red patch is one thing, justifying it will be another.

Huh Mimi was dominating the gripfighting, what are you talking about. Huh Mimi was beating her to the sleeve grips most of the time. Huh being left-handed and being much more familiar in kenka-yotsu, Huh Mimi had inside lapel position more often than not, and had the better sleeve grips too.
@@64wy4x8s there's one thing grabbing a sleeve, lapel. Doing something with it is another thing. That's why the second Deguchi controlled the grip Mimi would just drop into a fake throw
I believe that the last thing what a world champion who is trying to explain to others why he is a champion 🤷♂️
