Fun Fact: Its not Aimer's first time making a song for Genshin, fans commissioned her to make a song for Hoyofair New Year Party called "End of All" which tells Fontaine's story and world quest.
I hope she sings the opening of the Anime, whenever that comes out.

I'm not too worried about Natlan simply because when they teased sumeru and fontaine, both looked bright and bubbly, but we all know how those turned out. If you look at the background terrain when Yoshi is given a panning shot, some of it looks a bit sus.
Natlan is the nation of war as well and we only got a glimpse of what a few parts of it look like. It 100% will have its own Enka/Chasm/Remuria area for the people who love dark areas

I thought Natlan would be dark too! I’m honestly more excited based on the look they gave us but I’m sure they’ll still have some darker themed regions like Fontaine

I mean, didn't they also did the Fontaine teasers in this kinda style? Like 3.7 was teasing Fontaine as an environment, and then they dropped the Overture teaser in around 3.8. They will absolutely do that again for 4.8 and will drop a serious teaser just like what I mentioned and Winter Night's Lazzo

Just for information that natlan have 6/7 Biome, not all have dark themed. Maybe the Vulcano Biome or Jungle one Will have the dark themed like Mare Jivari for sure. Yea we just need to wait for 4.8 Livestream to know the other area.
Always wondered if the whole world of Teyvat was cursed in a samsara. (Samsara is a time warp that goes around and around.) The twins were sent to Teyvat for a purpose that they have not figured out yet so they are caught up in Teyvat and all the different countries trying to find each other. Don’t want to tell you any more. The storyline of the game as well as the animation is overwhelmingly good! 😊
Fontaine was a happy go lucky on the preview trailer. Look what we got in the story.

the first teaser for Fontaine showed us a cute Melusine, cute seals and swimming in bright and colorful underwater areas... and the story quest for that region ended with a god being decapitated and the whole nation being flooded by Celestia. Don't let the natlan teaser fool you, shit's about to get serious

Don't worry, Natlan is at least 2 patches away. If you've been playing Genshin long enough, you'll know there'll be a time limited area before a new region. 4.7's main event does not seem to be that, so there's still a 4.8 almost guaranteed.
We get Golden Apple Archipelago (GAA) teasing Maguu Kenki before Inazuma dropped, Nahida's voice appearing in 2nd GAA event before Sumeru, and Idyia giving us a bit of Fontainian lore in the Veluriyam Mirage before Fontaine.
The cuter the teaser/trailer the darker the story my friend, It's the moral of the story xd

God dammit, they almost hit Honkai levels of emotion - so, if they had that potential, WHY did it take them all this time for them to start with Animated Shorts?
Because HYV needs revenue to spend on these animated shorts which are expensive. Thanks to all the whales, now we have these awesome animated shorts.
We just learned that they have their own in-house animation studio for Genshin. Good animation takes time
Genshin is the most expensive game for them to make, and most time consuming.
HI3 and HSR take some time due to plot however genshin’s writing in comparison is even more careful with even the smallest names meaning something. The fact that it also takes place on a singular continent makes it so that every plot device added NEEDS to be explained in some way eventually without breaking continuity, this isnt an issuein the other games due to concepts like the will of honkai and the aeons having weird powers.
Ontop of that genshin needs to make full maps to be viewed from every angle and has a day and night cycle, cant spent too much time on ingame animations as unlike in HSR or HI3rd which pauses the screen genshin had everything playing at once, then you have to accommodate combat in an open world in a way that cant be abused with all the little nooks and crannies opening up combat glitches.
Character desgin is also more culturally inspired and many characters have been in development for over a year (Gaming for example took about a year to make alone), cloud retainer basically breaks the physics and collision ingame and took ages to make her work, they do full openworld lighting engine fixes as well as character rendering tweaking.
Thats probably why the game took this long to “pop off”, they’ve been making content years in advance and have been attempting to placate us in the meantime.
Also as the other said, making animations takes super long, nevermind getting the correct voices, having a schedule and a bunch of other stuff.
Genshin will likely be getting much more content onwards of natlan.
@@Fuphu Not forgetting the aesthetics and the music. From Furina onwards, the aesthetics of the signature weapons has greatly improved, especially Arlecchino’s polearm. Music-wise, undeniably awesome.

@@MiyuKawasaki True, but its a really REALLY good concept for the nation of dragons or the nation which originated from dragons. Aka the pure elemental creatures from the light/elemental realm to have 6 sub biomes amongst the mostly firey nation. Would be pretty cool to see

I forgot that HYV was a pop music company with artists on their label and not a game company that hires orchestras to play hundreds of hours of ingame music.

@@debunkintheories922 yeah, I’ve done everything in the game and there is just nothing to do but dailies and events and most of those aren’t even fun. Also as Genshin’s main point is the story and they haven’t added anything since 4.2. The only new content has become characters 🤷♂️ and if they aren’t going try to improve anything in the game what’s the point in continuing a game where the company clearly doesn’t care about its players…
