As someone that also plays as a GK. The sounds of the ball hitting your glove is very satisfying.

how does pickford always looks so flawless in these training sessions, but when he is in a game, its just all over the place
He gets unlucky and his mistakes are always when he doesn’t have much to do. When the goalkeepers are more involved in the game they have adrenaline pumping and are completely locked in whereas when Everton is dominating and Pickford has time to overthink things and has to get switched on quickly

@@leosburner1199 How does he get unlucky. The guy is playing in the Premier league and should be able to be focused all game and do his job. Everton weren't dominating last season and he still made loads of mistakes.

Pickford makes error every week but surprisingly not for england
Pickford has never had a bad game for England.
Anyway the other Keepers arent exactly viable options, Pope has also been making errors lately, Henderson has hardly played, as hes a 2nd choice keeper

Sometimes Pickford makes quality saves, and then sometimes you wonder why he is starting. But I believe he will get better as the season goes on.

Thing is Henderson would be my choice out of who is the best of the three in the league but Pickord always looks the sharpest in these sessions and has never made a mistake for England so Southgate still likely to start him

Whether anyone likes it or not. Jordan Pickford is still bar far the best goalkeeper out the 3 of them. Technically, Distrubution, handling, reflexes, foot speed, and positioning. But he’s confidence is absolutely shot to bits. But so would be yours if you had a woeful defence in front of you every week. Before anyone says, trust me Burnley’s centre half and Sheffield Utds are better than Michael Keane and Yerry Mina. Everton are top because they can score 4 a game.

Michael Gioffre think dean can pass better than pope though
depends on the situation. If pope is not under pressure he can distribute it very nicely and calmly, but when under pressure i think henderson handles it better.
I wish deano started against Wales as I can’t see him starting against Belgium and if he does it’s throwing him in the deep end a bit

Goalkeeper training drills can be deceptive. Yes great reactions but they know the drill so no need to anticipate. Goalkeepers also need to be able to control a situation. Pope & Henderson are streets ahead in that sense. Pickford looks like he’s going to go full on “The Monk” at any given moment.
