Respected readers, while Myanmar was butchering innocent Rohingyas, our Bangladesh was the only country to give them shelter in our lands and we are also the only Muslim majority country which at least did some real humanitarian work other than just showing sympathy.
We are not a developed country but a developing one. Still our prime minister said that if we can feed 160 million Bangladeshis, then definitely we can also feed the Rohingyas. The global community is not doing enough. Even some major countries are indirectly ar directly supporting Myanmar. Already a lot of our natural diversity is at risk of extinction because of the establishment of refugee camps for about 1 million Rohingyas. How long can a developing country like ours carry this burden?
Where are the rich Arab countries?
Where's the global pressure on Myanmar?
We are still the only country to take care of Rohingyas. The government has imposed such restrictions on them because they might eventually mix into our population and will never go back to their motherland, Myanmar.

We, Bangladeshi, live in a Muslim majority Republic state of Bangladesh. We, people and government of Bangladesh must look after the oppressed rohingya muslims. As a Muslim, it's our duty. As Allah Subhan Wa Ta'ala said in Quran,
"On that account: We ordained for the Children of Israel that if any one slew a person - unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land - it would be as if he slew the whole people: and if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people. Then although there came to them Our messengers with clear signs, yet, even after that, many of them continued to commit excesses in the land."
    (-Sura Al-Ma'idah, Ayah 32)
But, what is being done with rohingya in Bangladesh, is against the principles of muslims, is against principles of Bengali culture. In 1971, when we were invaded by Pakistan, our refugees were given shelter in India. Many of those refugees settled in India and lived as citizens of india till this date.
