Actually, remoraid would make sense if it evolved into octillery IF they had thier original form, remoraid used to be designed to be a pistol, and octillery into a attilary gun. It still doesntg make much sense, but makes more sense.

Another thing that doesn’t make sense is the evolution line of Dratini.
Dratini (blue)> Dragonair (blue)> Dragonite (orange).

Ethan Unglesbee, dude chill, I was actually meaning the massive appearence change after dragonair evolves. The colour makes no difference to me. I just had no idea how to explain it. Dratini (snake-like blue dragon)>Dragonair (larger snake-like blue dragon)> Dragonite (big orange dragon with similar appearance to charizard, looking as if it wasn’t apart of the dratini evolution line.)

The reason Nidoqueen can't breed is because of the similarities and inspiration from actual rhinos in captivity.
So technically a *caught* Nidoqueen can't breed, but a wild one can. :)
But manmade creatures like Porygon can breed? I’m pretty sure Nidoqueen not breeding is an oversight considering Nidoran F can.
After re watching this 2 years later i can definetely say objection remoraid evolving into Octilery makes total sense. Remoraid is based on a Remington gun and Octilery on Artillery so it makes sense

The reason remoraid evolves into octillary is because remoraid was originally designed as a gun/fish and octillary was a tank/octopus so they upgraded the gun to a tank. But it wasn’t kid friendly so they changed it to a normal fish and octopus.
So there’s actually a canon story about why Meowth can talk - before joining team rocket he was in love with a female meowth, he wanted so badly to impress her that he took the time to teach himself to speak English. The female ended up turning him down anyway, and he agreed to join team rocket afterward mostly due to heartbreak and feelings of rejection he was having
That same story explained that he used all his experience to learn to speak and walk on his back legs, so he can never evolve. And he is constantly being one-upped by Persian, so he'll never be able to compete with them.

@@hmza.m2201 The original episode, "Go West Young Meowth", just showed him teaching himself how to speak. However, I've noticed that the anime has had some inconsistencies, so it's very possible that there was another story that contradicted the first.
It’s Meowth saw a pretty Meowth and she said I only like Pokémon who stand and talk so Meowth taught himself to speak and walk on legs but the female Meowth rejected Meowth and the first word he learned was Rocket and there was an organization named Team Rocket
@@JCBPandaNinja I can't remember what exactly Meowsie said to Meowth, but it wasn't that she only wanted a Pokemon who could stand and talk. It was something more along the lines of him being too wild and distanced from humans or not human enough for her. He was running with a group of wild Meowths and she was a tamed pet. He basically took it as her wanting him to behave like a human so he taught himself to walk and speak and then she thought he was too human. Either way, a sad backstory for Meowth.

Octillery was originally a tank and Remmeraid was originally a gun.... I don’t know if that clarified things for you or not as to why a fish evolves into an octopus but it’s still an interesting factoid (I’m referring to their beta designs BTW)

I only got one idea for why a fainted pokémon cant be caught. By considering the premise of the Luxury ball where a pokémon reacts to the inside i think the pokéball only activates off of a pokémons brainwaves.
A pokémon needs to be conscious for the pokéball to work which is why it doesnt open up and capture anything its tossed on.
But thats all i got. Ofcourse its different in the anime.
Rhydon and rhyperior can use surf a water type move when they r rock types very interesting

Least sense to me is if Pokemon don't "die" but only "faint" in battle why do we purchase revives?
The definition of "revive" is restore to life _or_ consciousness, so it does make sense. I get why you thought it didn't though, since people mostly use the term to refer to coming back to life.

Nidoqueen has a lot of pokedex entries on how it cares for its young, but can't breed. Because of the pokedex, and the fact they would be extinct otherwise, I think that they CAN breed, but refuse to do so in captivity.

The no arms on serperior actually make sense. Snakes in real life started out with arms and evolved to have no arms. As for togetic.... well that’s just dumb
