Military Aviation Museum - Warbird Weekend

On a recent trip to Virginia I had the opportunity to swing by the Military Aviation Museum. They happened to be doing their Warbird Weekend. They flew some really sweet planes Saturday and Sunday. I was at a different place Saturday and Sunday got rained out, so I did not get the chance to see the Bf-109, FW-190, or Corsair, but it was still really cool. They also had a lot of reenactors and other activities going on. I can't recommend the museum enough.

the airshows out here a are beautiful sight to behold for any warbird lover..that german hanger has .50 cal bullets holes from the war...i live 10 miles from the museum!

Oh man, I was telling my friends how bad I am at taxiing the P-51 in the sim and one said, "That guy had no problem with it!" I said, "No, he did not." And I was also impressed with that climb. I've seen Mustangs fly a couple of times but I've never seen them climb out like that.
