This is one of my favorite slasher films! Fun Fact: the daughter’s boyfriend who died at the dinner scene is Ti West who wrote/directed X & Pearl. Also, he did a segment on VHS which involved the directors of this movie (You’re Next) & Radio Silence (directors of Ready or Not and Scream 5 & 6)

Erin is one of the best final girl. The movie was great. Tarik is Ti West who directed the trilogy X, Pearl & Maxxxine. He worked several times with the director of You're Next (Adam Wingard), Joe Swanberg (Drake) & Simon Barrett (Tiger mask & writer of fhe movie). Now I'll wat h you reaction
My guess is that Crispin told the killers to try to avoid killing Erin if possible so there'd be a credible witness but that if they did kill her too, it would be acceptable "collateral damage."
Sooo… this isn’t the type of horror/slasher film that I would _normally_ be into as I prefer a bit of camp and/or more humor/overall more fun in general. Having said all of that, I still _really_ enjoy this movie. Erin’s a total badass and it’s so enjoyable watching all off these evil d-bags who _completely_ underestimated her get utterly destroyed via her own two hands and incredible sharp thinking! Also, you guys totally *nailed it* with the comparison to _Ready Or Not._ Which also happens to be the perfect example of a similar movie which is more directed at people like me and my/our personal tastes. (Though I do feel like we may be in the minority!) Anyway, I’m SUPER glad that you guys reacted to this _and_ that you enjoyed it so much! It’s a damn good film!! P.S. The “actor” who played Tariq (The dude in the scarf who made documentaries for and was the first in the family group to die.) was actually director Ti West. Who is most well known for the recent horror hits, _X_ and _Pearl._ (As well as the greatly anticipated, MaXXXine. Which is the third part in the trilogy that contains the other two films of his that I mentioned.) Pretty neat, eh?! P.P.S. I absolutely *LOVE* your Scream VI hoodie!! If you don’t mind me asking, where did you find/get it?! I simply MUST own own one!! ☺️

This was the first movie of the directors who went on to doing Ready or Nnot and then Scream 5 and 6 so there is a reason why it's so famillier haha. This one was interesting but i think I liked Ready or not more for some reason. Grate reaction guys and glad you liked it.
Radio Silence (Matt Bettinelli-Olpin & Tyler Gillett) is who you’re thinking of. This movie was directed by Adam Wingard & written by Simon Barrett who went on to do the Blair Witch remake and other projects together including VHS (2012) which Radio Silence did a segment for, and serves as their feature film debut. Both directors give similar vibes and has worked on the same project, so it makes sense why there’s some familiarity between You’re Next & Ready or Not

This movie is one of the best modern day horror movies ever. Such an underrated film. The theatre experience was so insane! Love this movie ❤
I also love that when the parents ask if anyone would like a glass of wine, Crispin, Felix and Zee are the only ones who instantly raise their hands.
