- Ken Roczen has been out since his gnarly crash back in supercross when his suspension failed in the whoops causing him to go flying over the handlebars, breaking his tibia plateau, foot and a toe. A couple weeks back he posted a video of him breaking doctors orders taking his first steps since the injury which led me to believe that he’d be out for a while longer. While I was at the races I was talking to people in the media tent and paddock and the rumor was that Kenny was back on the bike. At first I just laughed it off but then HEP Progressive Suzuki confirmed that Roczen will still be racing a few nationals this summer. Once they said that I was like ‘oh they weren't joking, he's already back on the bike!’ Austin Forkner announced a couple days back that he recently underwent a successful brain surgery to remove an arteriovenous malformation (AVM). Forkner had known of the issue but scans following his crash in Arlington revealed that matters had gotten worse, and he then had surgery last Monday to remove the blood vessel cluster. Alright onto an MXGP story, defending champion and title contender Jorge Prado was coming into last weekend’s GP in Maggiora with confidence and was hoping to take back the points lead from Tim Gajser. In moto 1 they had battled but Gajser got the best of him. In moto 2 Prado attempted to do what he does best and get out front early off the start and usually he has a pretty good track record with starts. Unfortunately for him this time it ended his day…. Prado came around the first corner around top 3 behind Gajser and just before the 2nd turn Valentin Guillod fell in front of him taking out Prado and a bunch of other guys. Here’s that crash from multiple angles. Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing have announced the signing of Max Anstie to a multi-year deal that will see the British rider debut for the team at the upcoming Southwick round of AMA Pro Motocross. The deal comes just one day after Anstie announced his departure from Fire Power Honda following a successful year and a half with the team. It had been rumored for some time that Anstie was linked to Star Racing for a deal in 2025, but the duo pulled the deal off sooner to get Anstie back behind the gate aboard a Yamaha. SX Global has finally launched the 2024 World Supercross Championship (WSX) schedule, set to span four rounds across three locations - Canada, Australia, and Abu Dhabi - beginning in late October. WSX has largely been up in the air following delays to the calendar release, apparent discontent among the existing teams, and the departure of former CEO Adam Bailey, however, SX Global has maintained that a schedule was in the works.

Entry level day!? “ let’s go hit some 120’ double rhythm section. That’s crazy how good these guys are
I have a whole new level of respect and admiration for Forkner. My sister had AVM and had to have surgery back in 2007. Definitely rooting for him and his recovery now. (Already was, but now I will be following it more closely.) Best of luck to Austin Forkner
Have a feeling Anstie is going to put it on Deegan at Southwick next weekend. That's his type of track and he's finally on a premier bike.
He was on a great bike already. It’s the rider not the ride. You casual fans are goofy. Many riders have won on different brands.
He a grandpa deegan will make him retire
I’d bet deegan is on podium, he only needs to play long game now to win title. Why risk winning every weekend.
@@kingatticus303because deegan hates losing lol I like the grit in him to win and break the egos of these riders every weekend.
@@Foxxless_rsand he knows what hurt him in supercross which was being too greedy. He’s got a whole moto for a points lead. It’s his title to lose
thanks for all the updates enjoyed your show.. Have loved this sport since the 70s
I have said it before, and I'll say it again: Your voice and delivery deserves the old-school sound of typewriters or printing presses in the background like the old radio news broadcasts used to have.
Thanks for always putting out great content!!
Great content. I'm liking the long format.
Keep them coming.
Hay ! That's really cool 2 see Ken Roczen back on the RMZ ! But the real deal is when will Suzuki be back with a totally new RMZ 450 and RMZ 250 !!
Thanks for the updates
Love magazines, I'll be subscribing by next Friday, pumped Jonny is writing articles👍👍🏁🤙
Cairoli could eat corn through a picket fence...
Would love to see Cairoli back on the bike it’s only been two years off so hopefully he will be effective.
Would be sweet if cairoli raced over here again on the Ducati
back in the 80s I got to work on a desmo motor at MMI back then was told the valve train components were to heavy for racing applications (Arne Beaman Jim Pomeroy's Mechanic) excited to see it go
That firepower slot is pretty good,it appears they have things together over there.
I appreciate the magazine rite in braaaaaappapa
Another great video!!!
We are sure missing Eli Cooper and Roczen - sorta like last year when we were missing Barcalia, Eli and Cooper. We need them now more than ever!
Barcia
Roczen making HEP get nervous like Decoster had to worry about TP199
why were the roczen clips in black and white? 😅
I know it that's racist 🤷
Any word on tomac and webb?
Where is Kenny riding at? That place looks amazing
I wonder why everyone in moto media sucks off Hymas so much. The kid has made improvements for sure but he in my mind is a couple of years from actually competing for a championship. He did absolutely nothing in supercross and hasn’t even won an overall.
Because he’s the Lawrence’s lil buddy/ understudy! They are praying for someone to be able to defeat Deegan kinda the same way the WNBA players hate on Clark
You seem angry. Show us on the doll where Hymas hurt you.
I wonder why everyone sucks of Deegan so hard. He has won some races, 1 super moto championship. What else??? No SX title he was favored to win, I know, I know but he was hurt. He is supposed to win this title, so if he doesn’t for some reason what happens then. Are you upset that nobody really cares about deegans attempt to talk shit? His shit talking seems so fake, I get it his dad is Brian Deegan, so he is trying to be like that.
@@ibelieve96and you are all hoping that, the lil buddy/understudy, doesn’t get any better. But you should worry about max antsie, dude had speed on a privateer bike, now your giving him a Yamaha. Should be interesting to see what happens. Is Deegan going to mean mug him as well? 😂😂
@@martinmeza3588 That’s not a bad resume considering the kid is in his second year. Chance has done none of that and he is a year older than deegan. I don’t get why Hymas is hyped like he has actually done something. He hasn’t even won an overall yet and there talking like he is on his way to a title.
🐝🏁 Video 👍
Still uploading to rumble?
I like Anstie's lack of hesitation in the matter -- why wait.
Nice ✊🏻⚡️
Suxs both Australian round’s are at the same place.. could of thrown Melbourne in there😜🤙🏼
Highlight for me the sweetlife cbd
Oldenburg is a Minnesota native, he moved to Texas.
My bad... your right! I forgot. I just remembered he lived in Alvord, Texas. Sorry!
@@themotocrossnetworkHI sir. Did you ever race at the magnificent Millville national track? I really like your program and what you are doing with the magazine for the little kids. Always do your best and have fun. Never quit when you still have something to give. It's not a funeral, make some noise. Perfect practice makes perfect. Privateer power.
You state the truth sir, I can tell that you don't work for the government that we have right now. Always do your best and have fun. Never quit when you still have something to give. It's not a funeral, make some noise. Privateer power. Perfect practice makes perfect.
Im predicting ken wont be in wsx anymore either. If they are having trouble paying the teams how are they going to afford to pay roczen. Bet they tried to change his contract too. Man they really dropped the ball.
What's weird about Fortner is all of his crashes were weird and spectacular
That was before the accident
FYI rumble video is not showing anything on screen yet you can hear it. Blank screen and sound only . Thank you for your hard work.
Kenny is no way going to yamaha...kennys own silly season was souley based on finding a bike that felt like a suzuki which is his favorite ...hes said it in his own words how the honda didnt feel right for what he liked ....
Wsx changing their name to 3 country supercross.
3 continents... Each side of the world and both hemispheres Cpt. Slowly. 🤣🤦♂️👍
@@tankeater Its literally 3 countries, lol I think you might be the slow one.
@@natel7382 wow... Easy question CPT. Slowly, is it ALSO 3 continents?
# leaders in 3 years, is the problem leadership or is it the people behind it, funding the WSX, seems they like throwing money away and don't have much idea how to build stability in a series, if they are in it for a quick buck, they are wasting their time, it takes years to build and seconds to destroy and self destruction is what or whoever is behind the scenes of WSX is good at!
I personally said right at the start they need to build trust and credibility and they have provided neither! Team have no faith, countries and venues clearly don't have trust in them! So unless that changes well see another CEO and another debacle later this year or next! Not something we want to see especially in a World Series, but frankly the evidence shows so far that whoever is behind this venture isn't in it for the right reasons and that's not good for the sport! Get the results and like racing the money takes care of itself, chase rainbows and crash and burn! I'm not convinced, not have I been with the race formats.
To me, motocrss died in the lkate 1970s with the stadium supercrsss garbage, with idiot track designs and bikes with giant stilt-like suspenions , and so on.
It became stunt posers rather than proper racers.
You should watch the Sidewinder1 movie, if you have not already.
I don’t have a favorite story lol too much but dude this was a great video
Love MOTOCROSS!
