Like a lot of people, I started to follow her because of Bang Chan. I'm really happy when she speaks about him but I can understand that she isn't only the "Bang Chan sister". She's really kind, I love her voice and hope people can understand that she's more than his sibling.
Well done Hannah❤
I did not know she tried to be a k-pop idol. I mean I'm low-key happy she was not taken cause maybe we would not have her so personal music. She also can speak her mind way better by having her own company
I agree, kpop doesn’t let their artists express themselves but Hannah on her own can🥹
@@multistancontent yess!!!🥹🩷
Ikr , her songs convey her emotions so well
But without her brother's popularity she would have a lot more time to make herself known .
Either she or Bang Chan, I think Bang Chan mentioned that she tried for JYPE 3 times but failed. But it's better that she isn't a kpop idol. Her music is soo authentic the way it is. I'm glad she chose the path she chose.
she was so nervous and awkward but so authentic and real she’s so cute i love you hannah 😭
Exactly... You could tell she was nervous but she gave it her best 👌
“i took a nervous dump this morning” hannah i love you sm 😭😭
not zach third wheeling the hannah & dan chemistry T-T loved it
ikrr
The chemistry was off the charts adorable
You can tell Hannah is a little nervous with this being her first big interview but she did amazing and zach was a great interviewer as always ❤
I am so glad she didn’t become a Kpop artist because Hannah is more free spirited and independent and all her creative mind would have been suppressed if she was just in a company who controls your works. I love her music so much and I am so happy that she created her own path despite struggling being in the music industry.
Fr
We don't know how this could have happened, every company is different. But it shows that she didn't have the qualities of an idols
@@idontknow9357 Yes every company is different but also every company has a lot of hold on idols. Even if she was allowed to write and create her own songs like Bang Chan there will still be control on everything, their image, their interaction with fans, what they are allowed to say or not to say and I don't see her in that kind of controlled environment. Her not having idol qualities just shows how fucked up idol standards are, she is beautiful, she a great singer and a dancer as well idk about these companies not liking her.
@@ayvidyanIt's normal and logical.
The company invested a lot for a person and no one wants a rude celebrity. I'm not a fan of celebrities who insult for example.
A celebrity's image is very important. This is why there is a team behind the idols to pay attention to what they say because for Hannah if there is a problem she is alone.
She's normal, not particularly special but if she succeeded on CZcams it is to the popularity of her brother.
@@idontknow9357 This is straight up being disrespectful at this point. You can give opinion on her music cause that's just preferences anyway but you are being rude for 1st even commenting about her not having idol qualities now talking about her as just Chan's sister and not acknowledging her hard work. Yes she might be just normal for you but there are people who love her and her music. Yes she is known as Chan's sister but she is making a name for herself you have no right to just brush it off and say it is because of the popularity of her brother. Also I understand how companies control their artists in ways that they don't want them to show rudeness, I know that but if you look closely at some of the companies they are treating their artists like products to sell and work for them with little to no breaks and creating their own image and not allowing them to show their personalities, that's the control I don't want. If you don't have anything nice to say just keep it to yourself. I am done replying to you now.
Thank you for inviting her. I'm glad you guys had so much fun, I laughed a lot while watching.
I'm so proud of her. She really made her own path and deserves to be where she is now 🖤.
She reached out to them
@@ryanquince4549 Where did you get this information from exactly..?
@@valkyrieuprise5821 @0:10
@@ryanquince4549 yeah however they accepted it you know
@@valkyrieuprise5821 zach says it within the first 10 secs of Hannah's introduction
as a younger sibling who was/is only known as “___ little sister” it is hard to try to be your own person in the shadow of someone who is very well known because you want to be known as YOU, you want to be known for the things you enjoy doing. Growing up hearing “you’re ___’s little sister rights? Your brother is awesome” “oh I know your brother, he’s so cool” has always so bittersweet. It’s nice to hear people expressing how much they like my brother but it’s also a slap in the face because is that all I am to you? So I get where she’s coming from with not wanting to be labeled as “bangchan’s sister” I mean two completely different scenarios here because bangchan is known worldwide and my brother was known locally in our state.
She should have started as an unknown person/not associated with her family. Now she'll be a shadow until she becomes as popular as her brother
oh for sure. it's different for me though...i was known as "____ older sister" for years 😂😂😂 we moved cities and because it's a small city we sometimes meet the same people and people still sometimes ask are you her older sister 😂😂😂 like shut up hahaha it bothers me mostly because we are really different, but people assume I'm similar to her and it becomes really awkward sometimes 😂😂
She really should've not associated herself with bangchan.. Like treat him like he don't exists on the Internet. I know plenty of sis and bros that goes independently only been known after several years in the industry 😅and people treat them differently and often time forgot bout their relationship.
Yeah.. It's hard for her.. But she did appear with chan willingly.. So it's expected for people to remember her as chans sister first rather than an artist
Her stepping stone to current popularity and interest was majorly from his brother and his fans.
How much indie debut artist managed to score an interview with teen vogue much less sit down and have an interview with zach sang?
@@yummymellon4058 Exactly !!!!
Only true fans of Hannah can like this comment. Also the EP was so good. She did so well. Now she's doing interviews and the fans since the beginning can like dis comment
god every time she said something off the wall and zach and dan just kinda had to pause and take it in lmao... hannah you are EVERYTHING #period
I feel like Hannah holds a tiny sliver of a grudge for her manager forgetting her for two weeks 😂
Hannah had this boys get so comfortable! Had zach start talking in genz slangs !! And talking about dumps 😂😂😂
One thing about Hannah. It is true that I found her through Bangchan. But after a period of being with her. I found out that she is something else than just “Bangchan’s Sister.” Hannah is a hard working person herself. Even if I haven’t heard this much detailed info about her past, what brought her to this point, I definitely loved her character, the way she talks, her edits, her skills, her humor, simply everything is giving HANNAH, a person HERSELF, the label HANNAH. She herself makes her own label for herself. I am really proud of her for being herself. Among people who tries to shine from some other’s lamp, Hannah is really a strong person trying to shine by herself. People always say whatever the shit they want but those who get to know Hannah, will never see her again just a sister of another celebrity. Proud pre-debut Hannah Stan over here. I’m really excited to grow with her. Waiting for more bangers. ❤️
Thanks for inviting Hannah Bahng. I'm so happy that she is getting spotlight and more people are going to be able to know her and her music. During the interview I was able to know more about her and the process she has gone through to pursue her dreams. I respected and admire her before but now I have much more respect for her and her art. I wish the best for her and her company. 😊❤
She reached out to them, they didn’t invite her
It's awesome to hear from a smaller artist like Hannah who is on the up n up but still climbing, it's people we usually wouldnt hear the stories of getting some exposure!
DAMNNN SHE REJECTED HYBE. I'M ACTUALLY GLAD SHE DID, I LOVE THE MUSIC SHE'S RELEASING, I LOVE THAT SHE CAN EXPRESS HERSELF MORE FREELY BECAUSE OF THAT DECISION. WE LOVE STRONG INDEPENDENT WOMEN.
I love that she's getting so much spotlight and promotion for this comeback
the way oleander and perfect blues were basically at the top of my spotify wrapped last year HANNAH YOU ARE SO GOOD!!!!
Am I the only one who knew that she pursued being in the KPop industry? I could’ve sworn she said it in her live
she’s said it multiple times yeah
Yes she had already talked about it
Tried to count how many times Hannah had said "period"... I lost my count......
Btw love this interview. Queen is shining.
Word , I think
i've come to Hannah from skz as well but i'm so disappointed with the fact that the channel mentioned Bang Chan in the name and description while there's literally a couple of words about him. She said so many great words of her mum, story of her manager, why in the world you trying to get attention with the popular name but not with Hannah herself?? She did the best job and deserves all the attention, all the praise, I'm proud of you girl♥
amen someone said it
Most of his fanbase Are stays, talking or having information about her brother with the objective of getting closer to him/Have information you know .
To be fair, the few words Hannah said about him here were very impactful, like we usually understood them as typical sibling relationship, but Hannah actually looking up to Chan and seriously admitting it even in a few words is very enlightening too.
For exposure. It’s not a bad thing as long as it doesn’t always happen every time. If it brings her new genuine fans, then it can be a good thing
Thank you! Like yes I came to her from Chris but she’s so talented and incredible! She doesn’t deserve to have that thought in her head that one of the reasons that people watch is because Chris is mentioned in the title. She’s her own person and deserves more!
i had no idea she thought of pursuing being an idol. this interview is so interesting!!
I love how she expresses her thought trough actions and the silence that will go after that is just too cute and funny.
HOLD UP HANNAH?! YES!!!!
the chemistry between you three was absolutely amazing and hilarious throughout the whole interview. Hannah is so funny and such an interesting person, and the EP is wonderful! thank you for having her
I know this young lady is very talented and she would have become a star eventually. I do think that it helped her have passion for, music and the arts, from her mom and brother. Music seems to be prominent in the family since they all seem to have strong musically tendencies for the art. I feel she did got more noticed quicker because of her association to her brother Bang Chan. That isn't a bad thing, but I can see why she felt like she was in his shadow. Even through she really isnt in her brothers shadow. Hannah is very talented, and her music is so different more like DPR IAN Australian- Korean, or Corbyn Korean-American who are. I love this style of genre and wish Hannah all the success on this album and any future albums. Thank you Zack and Dan for this episode with Hannah Bahng.
Shes so hilarious! This is the only Zack Sang Show that I felt it was an actual podcast instead of an interview. 😭😭
Zach laughing so hard and Hannah saying " Get me outta here" is the peak of this interview 😂😂😂
i love the fact that she expresses herself so differently than them, her humor is different, but they end up laughing together. such a charming interaction, proud of you hannah!!
As a predebut Hannah stan I feel so damn proud she’s come so far😭
this girl is absolutely going places
And she plays the flute!?!? Hannah just when I thought you couldn't get more perfect you pull that out 😭😭😭. You and me duets when!?!?!?! 🙏
Ngl this interview just made me like Hannah 10x more than I already did, she’s such a fun person I love herrrr 🫶🏻
ikr me to #period 😂😂❤
She was so nervous but she did i great job as a first interview omg omg omg i feel like a proud mom 😭
She was nervous but she handled it really well, I LOVE HER ACCENT🙌
When you just assume “vertigo” was pronounced differently in Australia after hearing the song 😅.
I so appreciate her honesty on the topic - stunning song Hannah. 💜
Yes! Her saying she doesn’t even care 😂
I'm very proud of Hannah. she is very diligent and talented. The fact that they started to notice her can only make me happy
I didn't follow her at first even if she's Bang Chan's little sister but then I happened to bump into one of her vlogs then I found her funny. She has something in her voice that I cannot explain that also kept me on wanting to hear her sing. And now I've got all of her songs in my playlist :)
Hannah you're literally so iconic and funny
Hannah is such a lovely and real person. She deserves to be recognized in the music industry because she has a lot to offer. I'm really rooting for her.
so awesome seeing her doing her own thing, we need more independent artists
I love to finally have a great interview with Hannah !
I'm actually glad she didn't got into K-Pop because she wouldn't be able to express herself through her music. Her personality is what made me follow her because I love how she teases Chan LOL, so brotherly. Also, she's hilarious and so talented
I don’t think Ive seen zach and dan laugh so hard with anyone epse
Gotta admit, I laughed but also cried. Hannah Bahng, you're an amazing kiddo and can't wait to hear more from you
hannah feeling way more comfortable by the end is so hilarious, love her so much! She's an icon!!!!
Don't we all just love Hannah Bahng?? Her vibes >>>
I kept smiling through the video because i just love hannah so much and i'm so proud of her😭
She is very kind and nice 🥹
Yoooo Hannah on the zach sang show, so proud of her mannn
they were almost literally begging hannah to come back i cannot 😭😭😂, no but we fr need her back, that was such a fun ride, Dan fell for Hannah's humor and I fell for Dan's
we also got to hear more of Hannah's thoughts process making this precious album of hers and lots of more things,
having a frank ocean song as a bgm to her almost death plane experience ìs really unexpected yet somehow so hannah that
the song that came out of that experience is also #fire so..
Amazing interview. I did not know she tried kpop, but happy she understood what the universe was saying. And now she gets to be who she is, the way she is and not prune herself in front of the audience... She can swear, write her own music, do the MV the way she want to.
WE STAN HANNAH IN THIS HOUSE HOLD I LOVE HER ( since her yt one to)
god I laughed my ass off and I don’t think I’ve ever seen Dan so entertained and Zach laugh this much lmao glad that she was on the show and that we got to know her even more, she has so much to show
CAN'T THINK OF A BETTER WAY TO END THE PODCAST!! 😭😭😭
Inspiring ✨
Lollll😂
That authentic Hannah’s sense of humour brought so much energy to the show, guys! I just woke up and watched, sipping my coffee. Laughed so hard with three of you :) wishing success to our young musician with all her EPs. This music is so sincere and heart squishing at some point. Really enjoyed the interview, you had the best guest, thank you ❤
Enjoyed watching this soooo much, the chemistry between the 3 of them was so great 😂 seriously thank you so much for having Hannah on your show!!
I love that Hannah can be creative on her own even if she couldn't pursue being an idol.
I started to stan her because of her music pomegranate its very smooth and deep and her voice is splendid and wonderful. She really will strive more as a soloist than being a k-pop idol so I am very happy with her being solo
Like many, I came to know Hannah through Chris and SKZ, but truly she IS her own artist and such a delight!! Been following her for a couple of years now and her new album is SO good!
Watched it as soon as I saw the thumbnail and this made me need more Hannah Bhang interviews!! This got me cry tears starting from her talking about her mom and also smile.. Hannah is so cool, her funny conversation with you made me smile and I like how she is also serious about answering Zach and Dan's question.
I love the EP 🫶🏼 I respect the music you make Hannah. I've been LSS with Vertigo and since your debut, Perfect Blues has a touch in my heart.
Proud to have started Hannah's music journey from the start
I did NOT expect this, yet i screamed. I was in tears the whole interview, this was so funny and made me like hannah even more, her humor is so relatable XD I am so proud of you Hannah, love you and this interview
Gurl no worries, I'm so lonely that I talk to myself at LEAST 7 hours every day 💀😭
😂😭😭
I am glad that she decided to pursue her own path. It is unfortunate that she had to endure such difficulties, but on the positive side, these experiences have empowered her and granted her the freedom to express her individuality beyond the confines of being a K-pop idol. Instead of categorizing her into a specific genre, it would be more appropriate to acknowledge her as a genre-defying artist.
I loved the realness it was like talking to a friend
I love how witty and funny she is. I hope she gets more interviews like this! GO HANNAH!
so proud of you Hannah, you deserve every single bit!!
she's hilarious. And glad i got to know abt this ep more it's really interesting
IM A PREDEBUT HANNAH STAN AND IVE BEEN FOLLOWING HER SINCE SHE STARTED HER COVERS AND HER FUNNY LIL YT VIDEOS AND LIVES
hannah darling we love you so much don’t ever give up 🤍🤍🤍
I AM A PROUD PREDEBUT HANNAH STAN I LOVE HER SO MUCH SHES ACTUALLY THE LOVE OF MY LIFE
I really like the interview this same person did with Stray Kids a few years ago. Everyone who loves Stray Kids will always know that she is Bang Chan's little sister. But at the same time, she is not at all from their world. She is an independent person. And she has a unique creativity. I like her very much.
hahahha this interview was so legendary. I love Hannah and her personality so, so much. Just iconic…#fire🔥
I DIDNT KNOW SHE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE IN THE SURVIVAL PROGRAMME THAT FORMED KATSEYE??? WAHHHH
Time stamp?😢
Hannah I 'm so glad that you came to this show!! I've been wanting to get to know the meaning behind your music and this gives me more insight on the music I love. And how "tonight's the night I die to a frank ocean song" came to be is also crazy and its such a great song I mean I have been loving all the music created by hannah so far.And I also love how passionate and hard working she is. You really are so talented. You made your own company, wrote your own lyrics( which btw I think that when a singer writes their own songs the song becomes much more real and meaningful), composes her own songs, directs her own MVs. Honestly she is such a legend and I believe that there's much more goodness awaiting for Hannah. She is gonna do great!❤❤❤
i love hannah so much she is so down to earth and hilarious🤣
Been here since the early youtube days, I'm so happy to see her get some recognition, she deserves all the love for her hard work and talent 🫶🫶 listen to her music !!! She's good !!!!
She is so real for being an artist who has a hard time expressing themselves beyond the music because that is how they express themselves. Also, on the topic of the difference between K-pop and pop. Both have the freedom of style under the umbrella of popular music, but the main difference is the activity outside of the music. It's the entire kpop promotion process, fan interaction, merchandise, specific platforms, the formation process, and so on and so on that is all a part of K-Pop (and of course, language). Anyways, this interview was great, and Hannah Bahng is an extremely talented and cool artist.
I‘m so proud of you, Hannah ㅠㅠ Supporting you for YOU and for EVER
HANNAH, MY QUEEN 🖤
I'm way too proud of you, I'm here since two years and a half now and I am just so happy and proud to witness all your growth, I'm just so proud of you and everything you've done!

I love Hannah so much!! Love watching her grow. She's an amazing artist!
Ok can we just applaud her for doing this well in a first interview!? Like she SLAYED!! I adore Hannah so so much! She’s so creative, gorgeous, talented, and funny!! Thank you, Zach and Dan, for having Hannah Bahng for this interview!! It was #FIRE 🔥😌

I loved the interview! It's so good to know more about her and the process of creating the EP. I was already crazy about Perfect Blues and OLeander, and listening to the full album made me even happier with her work. Love it 💕
