  • In this video we check out a song from the latest performance of The Black Dahlia Murder since the passing of frontman, Trevor Strnad. Does Brian Eschbach have what it takes to fill the shoes of the late vocalist?

I think they should put out an EP with Brian as lead vocalist kinda ease himself and the fans into it..

I was at this show (and played bass for TBDM in their early days) and I'm proud of Brian and the boys for continuing on. It wasn't an easy decision, but it was the only way forward and the best way to honor Trev's legacy. They have so much support from family, friends, and fans and I'm hopeful for their future.

I have to say, I’m happy…I’m so very happy. It’s the best outcome I think to come from such a tragedy. This lineup was solid for that last album release, and seeing them continue in this way does bring me some great hope for the future of this band.😊

That show was so good! A friend and I traveled 5 hours from Ohio to see them! Totally worth the trip! Brian killed it the whole show. He's new to a front man gig doing vocals without holding a guitar! He'll come into his own and you'll be pleased with the final product! They sounded so amazing!!

One of my favorite bands. I just started the video but I just realized my phone is dying so I’ll BRB lol..I just needed to say that because I was totally crushed due to the loss and would love to see how this band I love bounced back from such dark circumstances . Im with you on this. I was definitely worried about whether this band would come back. I even mentioned that on the description for my drum cover to The Advent. This is a great lineup they have going right now and it makes me excited for the next album.

I didn't think anyone could truly replace Trev. He was just a beast. That said, Brian, of course, is the only logical replacement, and I think with some work, he'll do a tremendous job.

I also have had a similar thought process in past conversations on the topic of stage/show/festival security. Being a theatre kid in the past as well, I’ll stick to stage effects, lights, or being a roady, they’d surprisingly still be more to my skills and preference if I’m not performing.

Its always Great when an original band member can step up to the plate and take on this responsibility.. It looks like the crowd dug it. The crowd and your fans are most important when it comes to Any kind of Metal music. Or music period for that matter. Metal music isn't respected and liked by the majority of the population.. So, when u have diehard fans and a following its important to take the time and think about these things after losing a band member and brother. And that's what it looks like they have done as a band working unit they took some time off to morn the loss of their form band mate and brother Trevor. About where they were sitting as a band a functioning unit after this loss. If they were able to go on and Most of all if Brian could and wanted to carry on the Legacy of his brother Trevor.. And it looks like they that decision has been made and they are back.. I'll be looking out for future material from TBDM..💀🤘

Without question the right choice. Sticking a vocalist with a carbon copy voice to Trevor's would've been a tasteless choice
