  • Going back to the main story missions, I'm a little over leveled and I kind of feel it. There are also A LOT of fights in this mission crammed into the corners.

    With the release of 2.0 and changes, would you do another tier list of each character if you deem the changes big enough?

    Dude you should totally come back and make some videos on other games. Baldurs gate 3 is popping right now and your meta gaming mindset would appeal to many people who have already played through it and want to test out new op builds.

    Hey Maxxalos, I'm pretty new to the game and give a few attempts at it. Currently I've made it to Bridge of Sorrow. The character skills doesn't bother me as much as what to buy and when to buy in the normal merchant's store. Also, when is the best time/level to do a skill respec. And when is the best time to issue decrees, purchase upgrades from buildings as well as when to upgrade weapons ? If there are videos to answer these concerns, please send the video links on the reply. If not, please make one, albeit a short video is fine. The last thing I wanted to ask is if you had plans to do King Arthur: Legion IX, the Roman standalone version of this game ? I've reached the mission where I get access the Roman version of the Champion class, but seems to be stuck on that level. Really need help as all the characters are above lv5 but I have a hard time choosing the most adaptable skill for them.

    Struggling really hard to make black knight work despite watching your guide on him. I feel like I should start using him 18+ or so when I get items that grant AP for kills and have the passive that also grants AP. Any other tips though?

    • @axiss2632
      @axiss2632 Před rokem +1

      Champions are just not this good in this game right now. You can make them work but they need high-quality items to shine. It's safer to invest in vanguard as you main damage-dealer.
      Btw 18+ is the easiest part of the game, if character doesn't shine early-on it means he's not good.

    • @maxxalos1267
      @maxxalos1267  Před rokem +1

      He's super offensively oriented so having strong cc to prevent enemies from lighting him up will make a big difference. Other than that you mostly just need to play smart with positioning and just knowing how the enemy AI will probably react and target.

      That's fair, though I think it's a bug related only to desecrated ground so I don't think Faerie Knight, Ector or Merlin cause this. It's been a while since I've actually used Ector's fire wall so he may cause it as well?

    To be fair morgawse is a joke compared to Merlin. Merlin is able to one-shot these archers with fire-drake. In addition inspre & bless are 2 strongest abilities in the game and she is lacking them.

    • @maxxalos1267
      @maxxalos1267  Před rokem

      Inspire and bless are among the strongest abilities in the game, but I do not think they are the strongest. Personally I'd say death hex is the strongest, probably. I've personally had more fun with Morgawse than Merlin and don't really find the power difference to be that significant in my playthroughs unless you give him one of the burn relics. In that case, yea, his damage becomes absurd.

    • @axiss2632
      @axiss2632 Před rokem +1

      @@maxxalos1267 Try a group with 2 Sages with inspire & bless (relics that reduce bless & support skill cooldowns are prefered). The thing is they recast bless on your carry 4-6 times during one turn with inspire. You can get +120% bonus damage and +4 AP during turn 1. And 180+ % damage on next turn since bless lasts two turns. You don't need Death Hex if raw damage is enough to one-shot your target. And this build is realy strong early-on, you don't even need crazy items to make it work, this strategy can start working in act 2 when you get your first sages and only gets better when you get better items & skills that reduce your cooldowns. Most of my fights end in one turn with vanugard being crazy one-shot machine. The only problem are oponents with aoe-blast on death - you don't want to finish them in melee.
      As for Morgawse, she fills same role as Mordered. And she only gets slightly better then him during lategame when she gets access to all of her passives and skills. But lategame is much easier then early-game. Merlin is amazing from the moment you get him - he has teleport+damage+illusion+slow - everything you need to control battlefield.

      @@axiss2632 You can't compare dd to disabler just like that, bro. Morgawse has absolutely different role in ur team comp. I personally just finished roguelite on very hard with her and don't have any complaints. She is crazy disabler + semi tank.

    • @axiss2632
      @axiss2632 Před rokem

      @@ramkaxen9065 Merlin is both strong ranged dd and disabler. He is actually better at cc since he has illusion, slow & mind frenzy(?) and he can blast ice wall with his aoe if needed. Merlin can cast 2+ illusions every turn (illusion is the best cc at the game since it always works, even against enemies with 200% resistance). Morgawse can't even one-shot ice wall. You have to compare these two, since you choose one or another. Being tanky is useless btw - you usually don't take any damage after act 2 if you play properly. Morgawse is okay overall, she is not among the weakest characters, but Merlin is higher tier.
