A friend of mine uses that deck and I'm in an infinite lose streak, useless to say that everytime I try to chord for the Jailer, the FoN is in his hand, same goes for the Chalice (which I think it's better to play asap since waiting can increase the chances of him drawing FoN) if it doesn't get boseiju-ed after 😵
Ty! Rhinos is one of our worst matchups. If they have the nuts, there's usually nothing we can do about it. Just gotta hope to get lucky in matchups sometimes. Having a high density of Wall of Roots and keeping them at 0/5 can help buy us a few extra turns to find answers.
Yeppp I bought into this deck last summer after not playing modern for 8 years because of bans...we all know how that went and I no longer play modern again. I do think the Yorion ban and the reasoning given for it was ridiculous. The format wasn't actually in too bad a spot at the time .
@@meatmtg but that wasn't the main cause, that was just the last thing they mentioned, and people focused on that. Repetitive gameplay patterns and a growing high win rate were the main issues. Not to say that mirror matches often went to time.
@@marcobiraghi yes that's the joke lmao. I understand why Yorrion is banned. They didn't realize it right away due to lockdown and MTGO significantly cut down the time it took to shuffle.
paying to win has always been a thing in magic and is impossible to avoid unfortunately. not very good at magic? that's okay just buy all the best cards and you instantly just got alot better.
