About Us
MV Makena Kai is a cruising style boating channel involving adventure, raising children and challenges that take place aboard a cruising type boat. We showcase geographical areas in the Pacific Northwest (Northern Puget Sound) and Southwest British Columbia (Vancouver Island/inside passage). One day we hope to travel much further to Alaska and beyond.
Our channel will also cover an inside look to all the great enjoyments of a boating lifestyle as a recreational focus, boating ownership/management, finance, maintenance, improvements and innovations.
Our goal is to deliver a presentation of what we feel is one of the best forms of recreation that can be experienced.
Please have a look at our content, subscribe to our channel and enjoy.
Thank you.

You guys really make some outstanding videos. Thank you.
Thank you Stephen, such a nice complement!
I do look forward to getting more editing/publishing done, but it is time consuming though. Not enough hours in a day.
In any case, it is great to hear the work gets enjoyed beyond just our family.
Thanks again!!
Matt

Thanks and glad you enjoyed the info.
The ocean is a vast endless adventure.
Tanks for interesting videos. Where are crabbing at Desolation Sounds
Glad you enjoy the videos. I'm not sure you'll find much crab in Desolation Sound, much better suited for prawning. Try prawning anywhere between 200-300 feet of water.
Thanks for watching!!
