I feel like the second outfit just needed the slightest tweaks to be amazing. like it's not bad, it's just clear that it's not your usual style so it's missing the small touches that would elevate it. I would've stuck with hoop earrings but bigger ones, layered a few gold necklaces, undone the top button (if that isn't too low for you- I think it would still have been modest enough but I understand if you're not comfortable with that) and rolled the sleeves up a bit more. it just kinda takes it in that more effortless direction, a little further away from the super structured business style into something that better fits the juxtaposition of the Nike socks.
