    Do you know of a way to make the current active page link styled, so the current page's link appears like 'active' / 'hover' after being clicked?

    I'd like to know if you can use a Wordpress Menu, and only one menu item has a Mega Menu. So a traditional menu but one dropdown list is so long that it needs a mega menu.

    Hello, thanks for this great video ! Indeed the SEO is a problem I already mentioned on one of your previous video. But do you think there could be a solution to avoid this SEO problem when using mega menu ? I feel like the problem is not about Elementor but about the mega menu concept himself. Thanks for your answer :)

    • @LytboxStudio

      The best solution would be to hand-code a mega menu. I’ve seen some built with clean HTML semantics that has a similar output as menu with drop down submenu items

      I got desertions by using Icon Boxes instead of Icon List and stacked the boxes to make them look like a list. You can do the same with an Icon list by using inline CSS (it’s really the best way to do it for cleaner code output). And I’m really happy to hear about your website!

      Not good. I wouldn’t be using this for mobile or tablet. It’s basically the same as a container made mobile responsive but with the old drop down 😒
      But to be fair, mega menus aren’t usually great for mobile. It’s better to create 2 menus, a mega for desktop and a dedicated one for tablet and mobile

    Surely a mega menu isn't really for mobile?! You would only display a mega menu on desktop, maybe tablet but have a separate mobile specific menu displayed only for mobile. Just my view on this.

    • @LytboxStudio
      @LytboxStudio  Před rokem +2

      I agree, turning a big menu menu into a mobile can make it difficult for mobile users to navigate. A simple mega menu could get away with it. But still, it would have been cool to have a slide out option or more thought into the mobile menu. It’s been lacking since the beginning of El

    You can create your mega menu only with popups, you don't need all of this, and the best about it, its light and it's not going to affect your website speed, Popups forever, BTW you can optimize it easily for SEO.

    • @LytboxStudio
      @LytboxStudio  Před rokem +2

      Popups are better for performance but not ideal for menus as they they’re bad for SEO. Any menu items inside the popup are visible in the source code until they’re popped up which means Google can’t crawl and see your menu. That’s been the big downside to using popups for mobile menus. I like the popups too, just need to be careful when they’re in headers.
