She has an amazing way of talking as though she is whispering but still being loud. It makes you listen harder and give her your full undivided attention. It's amazing.

I love her, alwatys did. Even in the 90s when she was more known for being Mrs Tom Cruise I always thought she had a special something and was super talented. I was so happy for her in 2001 when she did Moulin Rouge and The Others and finally started getting the acclaim she deserves. I don't care how much plastic surgery or botox or whatever she's had done, I still love her.

Whenever I would come to the US for summer vacation to visit my aunts and cousins, I was glued to the television because I'd never seen so many channels in my life(probably 50-60) I swear I would only leave the tv set to eat,sleep(which would often start in front of the tv) and use the bathroom.Don't even get me started about going to the movies.
She is mesmerizing.
Because it's an amazing musical film! The song writing, the lighting, the acting, singing, set design, truly one of the few musicals successfully to film.

lol I can definitely relate to her four channels statement. I grew up on a small island in the Caribbean in the 80s and 90s and we could catch probably 4 or 5 channels.When we got cable we had like 12 channels,which included the big 2 of the big networks(CBS &NBC)1 premium channel(Showtime,then later changed to HBO) and some smaller channels.For "Deluxe" cable,(which we didn't have)you also got ABC&FOX plus probably another premium channel and some additional channels like Mtv Vh1 etc 2 b cont'd

Interesting. Nicole Kidman has bugged me for years - every interview I've seen her in she came across as superficial and manipulative, like her personality in 'To Die For' was her real personality. She seems more real here, maybe a function of getting older and maturing.
