Chick-fil-A owner operator Rob recently said this about his experience with our partner, BELAY:
“I talk about my VA to other Chick-fil-A operators [because] having someone that is assisting you and helping you sort your life organizes the work you’re doing. My life is different because I have [my BELAY Virtual Assistant] now."
Rob's story could be your story, and it starts with one call to BELAY about their U.S.-based Virtual Assistant, Accounting, Social Media and Website services.
To help you get started, BELAY is offering a free copy of its latest book, Delegate to Elevate. Click the link in the show notes to learn more:

The couple are to be praised for their daring and honest narration of a franchisee's story. I have gone through similar experience as a famous sandwich franchise. There has to be some kind of protection for Franchisee's.
Bless this couple for speaking the truth about ME. I had a similar experience with a different franchise (bullying, misrepresentation, changes to software, product lines, etc and more). While I’d love to be as transparent with my experience as these folks, because a lawsuit was threatened by the franchisor and then later dropped, I’d be concerned that they’d come at me again. Great interview about the reality of partnering with a less than ethical franchise brand.
Thanks Lee.
They are courageous and the interview is quite helpful for prospective franchisees to learn from.
Wooow ! Thank you for sharing
Wild right?
The host could make a killing as a model for hair commercials! (Gorgeous hair!)
It's sobering to hear the horror stories. It's learning that sticks. It's hard to forget what is said. The franchisor could be a predator and milking everyone they deal with. Scary situations.
Key to speak to many franchisees and former franchisees to vet findings
The franchisor is a predator who gobbles up a franchisee who is a predator who gobbles up the majority of the profits of the hard working massage therapist. You got what you deserved.
I owned a Dickeys’s and the corporation made us by everything through their supplier. We paid double per pound for our meats and Dickeys got a kick back from it.
I heard they owned the furniture company as well. Wild
Did these problems occur after Roark Capital purchased the company?
Yes, they occurred under Roark's ownership.
How can the franchisors claim “coming soon” for stores that have permanently closed or have chosen to not go through with the buildout?
I see that several locations are now up for sale in Utah
Not a good sign!
