+Salsabilla That's what makes the Japanese even more impressive. They are as small as the Thais, yet can give any of the top teams (US, Germany) a run for their money, and will beat other top tall teams (Norway, Dutch). Learning how to play together as a team added to strong individual skills will negate a lot of other disadvantages. Unfortunately for Japan, the USA has improved strongly in both departments, to go with their physical and endurance prowess.

The Germans don't only cross and score, have you seen dzsenifer marozsan? she can score from outside of the box any day with ease. How about Behringer and Däbritz? both fantastic long shotters. You also have leupolz who can skill around players and get an easy goal. With Steffi Jones as new head coach, she will bring new players in such as Lena Peterman and I hope she brings back Lena Lotzen. We are also seeing Paulina bremer, whom has pace and a good shot. You're very wrong about german football.
Germany is the most impressive team thus far even though they are in a very weak group. Some of these teams do not belong in the World Cup, Thailand is one of them.

+Doyle دويل Not so much. They should have lost against France. And their bench was not as deep as most people thought. In the semi-final they were desperate for subs after a tough France game, and they could only bring on an injured and visibly limping Maroczan. Meanwhile the US could have brought in Rodriguez, Press and Leroux, who would count as top class forwards had they played on any other team. The US also had excellent replacements on defense and midfield.
+guitta Dabe I agree they disappointed me later after, such a waste. France deserve more than Japan to go to finale but this year, US was hardly beatable with such talents in midfield and defense.
Germany's team was undergoing MANY injuries at the time. Marozsan was getting over a broken ankle, sasic had a hamstring injury, kessler was clearly not on the team, laudehr got hurt early on and leupolz got a knock during the norway game. Germany was in a transitional stage during the world cup. It's not that they don't have the depth, what happened was that they had to go up against much harder opponents as opposed to the Americans and Japanese. Germany had to go against, Norway, sweden and France. All top level teams that each took energy from germany to beat. When Germany got to france, they were low on energy and had players that were still recovering from injury who couldn't make it after that game.
