Buses in Bedford 24/01/2023

Buses in Bedford, around the bus station, on 24th January 2023. Stagecoach is the main operator in this area with local independent Grant Palmer also running a number of services in the town, both fleets largely consisting of ADL-built vehicles. Last autumn Uno introduced three new Enviro400 MMCs on their Cranfield Connect routes to and from Milton Keynes.

Lovely seeing lots of mucky buses, although I think it shows the idiocy of Stagecoach having a mainly white livery.

I think there was some cold weather around this time, so maybe their bus wash had been out of use? A dark colour on the lower panels and rear would indeed help to disguise the dirt, though only to an extent, and I'd say most of the time their buses appear presentable.
