Ruto cannot replace Gachagua with anybody. If no Gachagua, no mt Kenya. Mt Ķenya is fully behind Gachagua. Ruto cannot dare lose Gachagua cos he knows how important he is to him.

DP Gachagua tried to antagonise the Kenyatta and Odinga families into a duel on the chair of AUC when President Uhuru Kenyatta declined to contest the seat against PM Raila. Without that common element of aggression scholars like Prof Mutahi Nguny has lost relevance, thus DP Gachagua must reconcile with the Kenyatta family and Hon Moses Kuria with the Odinga family. Mt Kenya now have several kingpins, Moses Kuria and Ichungwah in Kiambu, Dindi Nyoro Muranga, Anne Waiguru and Matha Karua in Kirinyaga etc... under the overall kingpin President Uhuru Kenyatta

Why are you behaving as if you have short memories? Ruto himself stated that his singular objective once he gets political power will be to deal with kikuyus. Now when he is implementing the same by ensuring that the mountain is so divided that they will never again be the ones to determine the direction politics will take in the foreseeable future. Once he achieves that he doesn't care whether he can be re-elected.
Think of a card Uhuru and Raila unite and convince Mudavadi to run against Ruto with their support

Prof today you are totally WRONG! There is a problem between Riggy G and Ruto. What problem? The mountain itself. While Riggy G may want to be loyal the ground is restless primarily Rutos economic & tax policies which seem to be unfairly burdening the mountain. Riggy G cannot afford to ignore the ground no matter how loyal.
