Oh my gosh, my mom used to wrap gifts in the funny papers if we were out of wrapping paper! Every time I see newspaper comics, it reminds me of that! 🤣
I remembered when Candice first quit her job. She turned out to be a super super partner.
Yay!! My paka paka soda kats got pulled. Looking forward to receiving them. They are adorable. Thank you!
My advice would be to just pretend everything you took to auction was donated and then any money you get is a bonus. It can be disappointing with some of prices items sell for at auction.
Wrought iron furniture is good. Built to last, easy to paint, and you can store it outside. Plus puckers who don't have a truck can't buy.
What I like about your videos is your operation feels a lot more real than other resellers on CZcams. I love that you take items to auction - I do the exact same thing. It's not a 'death pile' it's an 'auction pile'. It's a great way to get rid of items that don't sell well, or you do not want to ship.
lol, thank you for the answer on the bubble wrap. We only buy American bubble boy wrap too so I will keep an eye out for it.
Could you make a video out of the auction maybe? The bids and maybe some cool items
I would love to watch a video of the auction as well!
Can't wait to see you unpack and pack the pitcher and cups 😂
My mama used to wrap presents with funny papers when I was a kid too!
7th view / 1st comment :) woohoo!
Thanks for sharing. I always enjoy watching your videos. They are entertaining and I pick up a thing here and there to make my eBay reselling better.
Cheers,
Julien
Yes we used the comic paper lol mom and grandma 😊
Those red line Bose speaker sell really well online. I would just remove and trash the stands
We used comics to wrap presents too 😂
I adore watching. Smile😊
Can’t wait to see how the auction works out. Good luck.
We used the Sunday Comics to wrap gifts!
Cracking sales 💪👍 and I’m with you both Wotnot not for me some uk CZcams resellers do it but I’m not interested in watching it
I would love to see the auction you are selling in, would there be any way you could video the auction to show what it is like? I would love to watch that video, it seems like it would be fun and interesting to watch! Love your videos!
I was thinking the same thing!
Please video some of the auction so we can see it too!!!
I would love to see a video of the auction as well!
We sold for several months on whatnot and made really good money and a ton of followers but man does it take work. It is extremely exhausting.
Love your hair
Hopefully, auctions will go well for ya. I know in my area it can be hit or miss. Most often miss to be honest with ya.
I last month shipped s 5 foot tall blow mold to North Dakota. I also shipped a large wood souvenir spoon display to be hung on the wall. I have even shipped large prints framed in glass.
I am willing to just about pack anything and ship it.
Yes to comic paper! Saved me several times!
Great vid guys! I once tried my hand at refinishing and reselling furniture. Waaay too much labor involved. Not to mention paint, stains, sandpaper, etc.
I used to refinish furniture for a living... it ain't easy...lol
We used comics for wrapping paper too ❤❤❤
Question for Candace: Do you have any tips on taking pictures of certain colors and textures that look shadowy in the light box? My light box normally makes great pictures but certain greens, blues and purples always look dark and shadowy. Thanks!
Great video thanks
Love your videos ❤️ Suggestion..Candace needs her own microphone. Her voice is much quieter when she is farther from camera especially and I have a hard time understanding what she says. She wouldn't have to raise voice which I know she is doing. 😊
Lol we used the comics for wrapping paper also
Antique Shops charge Monster money for everything! Your not gonna be able to make your money back reselling!
Seeeeeeeeaaaaled.
This is a live auction? I knew of the ABB Earth Day special from an E-Mail.
What do you use to wrap the items in their own box?
I'll be interested to follow your furniture experiments. I've found the juice isn't worth the squeeze. I'd rather sell ten $20 smalls than one $200 cabinet that takes up space for weeks. That said, if I find a midcentury modern piece, I scoop it up.
We plan on being selective. I would like to sell the 10 $20 smalls and the $200 cabinet.
We would pack the girl gifts in the comic paper and the boys gift in the sports page this comes from parents who came from the depression don't waste anything
Go for it 2 what not shows a month
👍
I've brought stuff to auctions, it works out great.
"Cuisine-Art" 😂
I've heard different versions of the pronunciation. My mom had one when I was young and she called it a queezin art. Cuisine makes sense too. I just roll with whatever people call it. They might be correct.
Whatnot Marketplace is buy it now and some resellers are having success on there without doing live auctions. So maybe that could be a possibility for you at some point.
What Not now has buy it nows.
