Hi Slight, great follow up vid to the install! Will you be doing a separate video for the Thunderbox? I’m curious where you ended up placing it, especially since the underseat storage is already occupied by the camera system. Connecting anything to the battery is 10x more difficult than it is on the 1100, because, 1. Like you said, you have to remove two bolts just to get to the seat, 2. There’s no storage in the battery box other than the owners manual and registration papers, and 3. Access to the positive terminal is a PITA because of how tight all the electrical wiring is packed in there.

I wish you had tried the Mercylion M3500 Motorcycle Dashcam I want to know what that Dashcam is like..... The system box is actually a screen that goes on your bars and not under your seat no need to use a phone.. Your SD card is stored in the screen..... So you don't need to pull your seat off to get to the SD card.. The remote seems smaller and is Bluetooth/Wireless tho that means dealing with a battery for it...

Can you tell me the length and diameter of the camera bodies?
If you want to cut down on battery drain while downloading the files to your phone you could put a switch on the “accessory” wire so that you could select between ignition power and battery power and turn on just the camera.
I've thought same thing and definitely going to add a switch on the acc wire

Have you experienced any issues with the F1 when exposed to water? Mine freaks out whenever I water the bike or get caught in the rain.
I have not had this issue. Maybe contact them and see if this is an issue they’ve seen?

why does the 4k camera seem so washed out colour wise and the 1080 camera seem better, clearer, better colour. Other reviews don't seem this way. I know this might be a silly question but you did put the camera's round the right way round right? 4k at front, 1080 at the rear? I'm sure you you did but the 4k should be more like the rear on on your video and the 1080 should be more like the front camera.... Hence my confusion...

Hi, Question; how is the front lens holding up? (bugs, sand, rocks can easily damage it?)
2024 feb; Just got one for about $300us For me, the unit seems more worth like $200us something.
CONS;
-Regarding the memory card; Vantrue uses the FAT32 format, which is not secure and very old fashioned and limits files to 4GB and windows made partitions to 32GB. You can use micro SD card up to 512GB though. (512GB records about 28h of video (per minute; FRONT 4K=233MB and REAR 1080=74MB; together 307MB per minute))
-VLC player would NOT play any of the .MP4 files because of HVC1 video format. Win media player has no problems.
-Rear camera cable could be a bit longer. Front camera cable is a fragile high speed data coax cable.
-CPU unit is not really waterproof and a USB-C connection would be better than WIFI to your phone/laptop. (Who wants to watch the video stream while driving ???)
-Feedback voice is a very annoying Chinese English tone with bad grammar
-Camera's seem nice and solid, control box less so; very plastic-y
-System has a 2 amp fuse; so uses about 25Watt, which is quite a LOT !! The front 4K camera and especially the CPU block gets a bit warm.
For me; Video quality and anti vibration are good.
In all; OK-ish.
