She didn't write nor compose the song. Together with a few songwriters, they all helped to write the song. From my scant knowledge of the industry, the professional writers/composers will do most of the work. The idol/s will be credited if they do help so as to give them prominence. It is still fantastic but please do not exaggerate.
Top-notch vocalist?! She sings well but she is not a top-notched singer. In Batter Up, she was given all the parts that uses chest voice only. The real vocalists all had to transition from chest to mix to head voice and on some occasions, do some flips. Asa does not have any parts like that. Above average singer, maybe. Top-notch is pushing it too far.
As for rapping, many said that Ruka has the swag and is a better rapper. My personal opinion is that Asa is a better rapper that Ruka. Again, it is just my opinion. You need not agree.
