    why does the speed shows as manaties per hector instead of kilometers per hour?

    • @mooreanonumbers
      @mooreanonumbers  Před 2 lety +7

      NTSC is faster so we have to deal with the freedom units

    It’s been a long time since I played this game! This is really cool. One thing confuses me: why do you slow down in the license exams?

    • @mooreanonumbers
      @mooreanonumbers  Před rokem +2

      Hi, it's been a long time since I ran this game so I am not sure. Licenses are a high risk low rewards section in Gran Turismo runs in general so I was probably just being careful.

    why doing the gt cup before the clubman? also why spending money in the supra if everything is done with the chaser after gt cup?
    PD: Mad skills btw

    • @mooreanonumbers
      @mooreanonumbers  Před 3 lety +6

      Thanks. I do GT Cup before Clubman because you get the Chaser by winning GT Cup. And I tune the Supra because it only takes 10-15 seconds of menuing, I make up much more than that on track.

      @@mooreanonumbers why the grapbhics in the video is so bad?

      @@MsSirAndy I use real hardware, I have an entry-level capture card, I use harsh compression settings because my upload speed is really bad, then CZcams's own compression algorythm is at play too... Everything adds up. It's not ideal, but the main reason I uploaded this was to get the run verified.

    Couldn't you just....skip the last race? i mean given the amount of points you were already champion 0_o Or is my memory not serving me properly and quitting means forfeit of the whole championship?

    • @mooreanonumbers
      @mooreanonumbers  Před 2 lety +4

      Yes, unlike later games in the series quitting the race means quitting the whole championship

    It seems that Gran Turismo 1 is more of an arcade game compared to the rest of the series and for some reason the deadzone of the joystick is way too much, although it could be my controller.

      It was apparently the first or one of the first games made to fully support the dual shock controller also so that might be it

      @@sebastiankulche For GT1 and 2 I usually just tapped the d-pad, when I didn't have one of those mad catz spring-centered steering wheel controllers anyway lol
      I saved up my lawn mowing money and bought a Logitech force feedback wheel used from a pawn shop pretty shortly after I got my hands on GT4 and never went back...
      When I replay the old ones I usually stick to my original strategy of holding the d-pad until I've turned in enough and then quick carefully timed taps of press/releasing the button for the appropriate time to keep the steering angle. I personally always felt like I had better luck that way in the PS1 games at least. Adding the pressure sensitivity from the Dual Shock 2 to the face buttons for gas and brakes for GT4 was cool too, cuz you could get analog gas/brakes and analog steering, which got me to use the sticks more before I got the wheel... I never used the stick for steering before that really
