I always come back to Souls. Yeah just save enough souls to +5 your weapon early and you should hit very hard.

There is nothing wrong with that. You did it and that is all that matters. When you do it again it will be much faster.

Umm, it is slightly different in all of the souls games. What you want to do is practice running behind an enemy and taking a slight pause in movement (let go of Joystick) and then while you are paused just use light attack. You want to pretty much be squared up with your enemy in DkS1, so make sure that your shoulders line up with theirs. I would practice on enemies near Firelink Shrine. I would start with locking on to targets first so you can get used to it then move on to unlocked after that. Thanks for watching and commenting.
