The red curtains do look short. Leave the white curtains and make a bow out of red velvet ribbon and tie it around the middle of the curtain. It will just give you the pop of red color you're seeking. Your home is beautiful and so festive.
I'm probably the only mom who feels this way but to the point of how I love decorating for Christmas others say it's a bonding experience for them and their kids but for me I just want to enjoy my beverage of choice and just be in my happy place decorating
Awww, watching you decorate the tree by your fireplace I see your sweet little girl all she wants to do is put a piece of ribbon on the tree and you keep brushing her off, in the moment I'm sure you just have so much on your plate and this is just one big thing you want to get done as quick as possible and as perfect as possible, but your totally missing important moment opportunity ❤❤ that's how it looks anyway , without a doubt I can tell you love and adore your family and provide for them in many ways, just a gentle reminder to seize those special moments because we just lost someone so very loved in our family, only 24 yrs old, and in the most horrible way that we have to live and carry with us, made me step back the things I thought were so important and emergency to me, now are not❤❤

I love the red curtains! The length is a just a tad short BUT they’re long enough to cover the entire window AND you don’t have to tie them up to vacuum!😉

You could just tac some extra fabric to the bottom of the curtains and then make curtain ties out of the remaining fabric so it looks intentional. Great job, love how bright and cheery everything is

I use a little pair of the stretch winter gloves you can buy for $1.00! I used them to fluff, then throw them in the box when I pack it away. That tree is beautiful!

Decorated my entryway yesterday. Last night I was walking pass my entryway and say all the ornaments on the bottom or reachable for my 2 yr old all over the floor.

I LOVE that you decorate your house with all the bright red & green traditional Christmas colors. That is my style also, and the red & green just makes me so happy. I feel like it's not Christmas without it. I really don't like the neutral Christmas decor that some people do. Or the non-traditional pinks or "glam" stuff. Those things are pretty, but they just don't feel Christmas-y to me like the red and green. Your house looks so festive every year❤

I think your red curtains look fine. I have my curtains off the floor about the same height as your red ones. With toddlers and a dog it makes sweeping the high traffic areas much easier.

I think that King of Christmas-their company also put gloves that can be worn while fluffing their trees in their boxes with the trees. ☺️🎄 A suggestion for the red curtains-get curtain hooks for them to bring them up at the sides during the day. 🎅🏻 The King of Christmas tree is stunning! 💚❤️ It all looks so festive and cozy!

In regards to the curtains, I absolutely love the red! It does give the room some pop. I know it's a bit short, but at least if that window sill gets sticky or messy in any way, the curtains should be safe! It will also give you a small bit of light when they are closed without overwhelming you.
For Christmas movies, on Great American Christmas/Family I love Royally Wrapped for Christmas, the Mrs. Miracle movies (the first one is my favorite, but I like the second too), and a Royal Christmas on Ice. On Hallmark, I love My Grown-Up Christmas List, Christmas Next Door, My Southern Family Christmas, My Family Christmas Tree, Christmas Waltz, A Christmas Carousel, Campfire Christmas, and so many more it's hard to name them all here!!! I love, love, love Christmas!!!!

As for the curtains, I agree to the person that comment to keep the white and add red ribbon on each side! But if you like it, I’d say keep it if it makes you happy, it’s your house so there’s no rules!😉
For kids toys is their happy place for moms it's decorating. We let our kids play in peace but they always want to enter our happy place. 😂😂

You make decorating a tree look so effortless! How many trees do you put up in your house? I just have one main tree. I've collected Hallmark ornaments since 1989 and have several hundred. Each year the tree is a little different since I rotate them.
