I'm a ATGATT boy too pal and totally agree that full face helmets are the best option. Better to sweat and be protected. Dress for the slide not the ride.also yea i do love a costa me lmao so yea i wont be taking that tip on lol

I've a 3/4? Shark helmet. Open face but with jaw protection. Great airflow and noise cancellation but yes a full-frontal impact may present a problem.

My dad won't let me go out without full gore Tex touring gear so I'm sweating so much when I'm out but I'm still out so it counts. I'm going to get under armour with mesh and plates to make it bearable lol can get up to 30 degrees here in northern Ireland pretty frequently so I'm not looking forward to it if i don't have under armour. I have a riding balaclava and i recommend getting one and putting it in water before you go out it is a life saver when it comes to keeping you cool 👍 ps. F*ck milk trucks and long live caffine
Yeah definitely try getting something cooler for hotter temps, 30 degrees in full gore tex must be absolutely brutal mate!!! Eyyy that sounds like a really good with the balaclava i'm 100% going to give that one a go! Exactly Long Live Caffeine!!!
I've a decent set of aramid jeans (w/ pads) and a nice airy jacket. Pretty comfortable upto a sunny 23 so far.
Eyy perfect! I'm actually still after a better pair of riding jeans so i'm going to have a look now haha.
Im still wearing full waterproof textiles in 20 degree (UK) heat. I should have bought mesh textile lol. I crack my visor half open all ride, but I cant sit in traffic because i'll bake.
£120 summer jacket just for a few days of heat I dont know
I'm the other way round haha, I freeze in the winter and get wet but seem to be fine during those very very few hot days! Agree with the visor in still traffic though. Yeah may not be worth it to be honest pal!
@@pudmoto in the North of Ireland we cant tolerate heat because we are furthest away from the warmer countries lol. Its like a sudden shock. But yea seem to be ok in the winter haha

I only have summer gear anyway, since I just don't ride in the winter. It's way too cold for me.

I'm broke AF so I use a motocross armour with mesh under a jacket. Better than nothing, right? 🤷♂ also, who rides without caffeine! 😂
Absolutely pal, you get as much gear as you can afford because exactly what you said, it's better than nothing! I know right! I can't function without caffeine haha
Annoys me when i see people wearing shorts & T shirt, 40 degree heat last year and still had full leathers on, but wouldn't go out without them on!
Same here! Really makes me cringe seeing people ride around like that, see loads of videos from America where they come off in just a tshirt, seriously bad situation. Yeah exactly, best way to do it with the full leathers mate!
