where i live middle school is 6th, 7th, & 8th. high school is 9th-12th. it honestly just depends which state you live in cause a lot of states differ with junior high/middle school.
My middle school is
4th, 5th, and 6th
And high school is kinda just 7-12

I respect Marla so much, she isn’t scared to not show a perfect aesthetic life, she takes into account that not everyone can afford 90 dollar merch, and she isn’t the kind of person to be embarrassed by family. She is an inspiration and my favorite youtuber, I love her so much.
*PSA:* I know lots of people are doing online, so I just wanted to say how important it is to have a routine still! Here are a couple ways to stay "sane":
1.Set up a schedule of when you want to do your classes (As if your at school)
2.Get ready in the morning with breakfast. We don't realize how this can impact you (if you don't want to get ready everyday, then choose a designated day/s to "dress up", like a Tuesday or sum)
3.Create a space where you can work at with no distractions from home
4.Take breaks or else you'll get fatigued! (I recommend a lunch/snack break or to do some exercise whether it's going for a run or yoga)
5.This one is pretty obvious but make sure to keep all your classes separate in either binders or notebooks.
That's all for now, but if I think of more I'll add them! Everyone please stay safe and you can contact me if you need more help or just need someone to talk too. I know these are hard times♡

Also try to have your work space separate to your bedroom so you have a different work environment to your relaxing envrionment p.s I'm from NZ so I did online school for a month in april/may and all the things you said were 100% true
i rly respect ppl who do all this everyday sm lmaoo they have to get up so early like i usually get up ten minutes before leaving for school lmfao

Aj, I agree, also it’s a bit frustrating seeing influencers not social distancing and taking precautions, i am not necessarily talking about Marla here but most influencers just seem to not care anymore.

i’m going into freshmen year, and the anxiety in this body is astronomical-
we are going to have assigned seats at lunch, which is understandable, but i can’t start conversation for the life of me.
tuesdays and wednesdays we have 86 minute classes (that may be normal for highschools though)
and overall i’m anxious about meeting new people

So there’s primary school- reception to year 6 (4-11yrs)
High/secondary school (you call it either but people in my area just call it high school)- year 7-11 (11-16 yrs)
And then after that you can go to college and university
I’m pretty sure that our years are one ahead of your grades, idk how to explain it but e.g. 8th would be year 9
