The creator is blessed with an imagination, but incredibly lucky to be able to extract it and create it for everyone to see. It’s a genuine talent most people don’t possess.
It’s honestly the forward thinking that’s the most mind boggling, as you put it, the ability to extract it. Even the best designers have a tendency to build parks that though they have a great elements, never really feel elegantly connected. It’s the fact that all elements, design, layout and performance were somehow imagined and designed simultaneously…a concept that’s sounds as foreign to me as coming to grips with the length of eternity. Colloquialisms aside, this is amazing and frankly a design that begs the question of why isn’t RyRy doing this in real life.
I wonder if the creators of Planet Coaster could have ever imagined people would be creating such elaborate parks so insanely realistic !!! Epic park and such realistic smooth coasters too!!!
That's a great question. And I bet they certainly did not! Because there are so many variables/possibilities with this game's creation ability - I think we are going to see more and more amazing things in the future. Maybe RyRy is just gettin' started, lol. Time will tell!
This is a genuinely amazing park, and RyRy absolutely deserves the Legend status for this. Probably my favorite part is the stratocoaster because it really works in both directions. If you ride it last, it's a reminder of how great every theme before it was, and if you ride it first it gives you a preview of everything to come. Truly a phenomenal experience in every way
This is not only the best park I have seen created in this game, but one of the most incredible creations in any sim/builder type of game I have seen. Amazing on every level. Its also a double edged sword, seeing something like this cause it inspires you to go try to use some of the ideas in your park, but in my case I soon realize I do not have even 1% of the imagination, artistic ability and creativity this creators possesses. So I start to feel why am I even bothering playing this game? Nothing I make will feel cool.
totally agree, I almost couldn't believe it didn't make it into his top 3, it was my favorite experience, even just watching on my computer screen I was totally mesmerized

I do like what they did for Star Wars: Smuggler's Run at Disney though. Opened in 2019 on may 31st, it's the most recent addition of a park that I was just astounded by. Certainly surpassed my expectations.
@@VerninTheRat much easier to expand into areas with vacancy thats for sure. We've all got all of our parks and brands hate em or love em. we're working with a full team and nobody new is about to come in and shake stuff up. On a terraformed mars perhaps somebody would have their shot though lol.

Wow, unbelievable. At first I said to myself there's no way I'm watching the whole hour and a half, but I did and didn't want it to end. We're hanging on to a thin thread of hope that a planned theme park in the Houston, TX area called Grand Texas will actually be built and in a perfect world, RyRy would design it.

RyRy performs coaster voodoo. I watched him build this park and I am always in awe at how talented he is. He has an amazing attention to detail, he is never happy unless it is 100% and I think you would agree this park is 100%
The Stratocoaster is amazing! Pure joy to ride and the ending through the pirate cove was beautiful! However I think the masterpiece in this park is the Ghost Coaster! His Michaelangelo!
I never thought I would enjoy a virtual theme park almost as much as a real life one, but here I am! This park breathes realism. The thought process and time used to build this incredible journey is truly outstanding. The attention to detail & well designed of it all. It’s a perfect balance of many compact themes that bleed into each other taking you on a journey from start to finish. It doesn’t leave you scattered. It’s simple, yet complex, somehow, at the same time. Truly a beauty at day & night! It packs a punch from one ride to another, leaving you wanting more and more each time. My hat goes off to the creator of this masterpiece. This is well deserving of legendary status. I’d also like to mention the commentary and editing by the creator of this video, allowed us to enjoy such an adventure. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

I've never heard of this game and spent thousands of hours making mega super detailed parks in RollerCoaster Tycoon 1 and 2 about 15 years ago. I'm inspired to do pick that back up in this game! I wish this was available back then!
I think the thing that makes the park extra special is each coaster felt realistic to its own design, ie the wild mouse, looping coaster and mine train. Making a truly realistic park must be painstaking but the rewards are worth it because this is so good! Well done and thanks Johnny for showcasing it as always
This is such an incredible creation! I feel like while this park did not have a plot, it still gave a perfectly paced experience and "story" if that makes sense. The pacing of this park and integration of each theme and area into the next is superb. The flat rides are perfect, and its all so beautiful. As far as coasters, its hard to choose a favorite. The launch coaster and mine coasters are fantastic, and I love the double-station for the two steam-themed coasters.
I just got into this game from planet zoo, haven’t even bought it or really watched videos yet. This park will forever wreck my expectations for everything I watch and build afterwards.

Yeah, it almost feels like I'd be undermining all of these absolute masterpiece coasters by trying to pick a favorite. But I found myself watching the Ghost Coaster multiple times and just in complete bewilderment. I was turned into a giddy 10 year old boy again, I want that coaster to exist in real life _so badly_ so I can ride it!! Right as you think you're oriented, and you're sure you know which way is up, the angled doorways forcibly realign your perspective and you have absolutely no idea how the world will appear to you through the next doorway. That's not even mentioning how well the swells in the music matches the pacing of the ride, just take a look at 30:15, that whole section feels like it should be in Universal Orlando and not just in Planet Coaster. 11 out of 10 RyRy!!
GHOST is one of my all time faves, it was one of the last coasters I placed in the park as I wasn’t sure what and how I wanted it. It came out great in the end and I’m so happy someone has enjoyed in exactly the way it was made, thank you for the comment and hope you enjoyed the rest of the park 👍🏻
@@RyRy2312 Can I ask where you got your inspiration for GHOST? The "For You!!" sign and plunge into grave gave me major vibes from the 1988 Tim Burton movie "Beetlejuice." And yes, I love the whole park, there's nothing else like it. it's just that GHOST just felt a little extra special, so it's cool to know that it was one of the last coasters that went in.
@@K31TH3R it’s themed around the lady of the manor that hasn’t quite come to her full resting place, so the coaster floats through the grounds of her manor (perfectly lit trees and grounds, a lot of hang time) and then goes through some spooky passages and grave yard with finally ending up in her resting place (FOR YOU), that was the idea and the end result mimics it perfectly in my eyes. AND my imagination 💭 lol I have listed all the stories/ideas on the steam description but I think Johnny was enjoying himself he forgot to look or remember like with the pirate area 👍🏻

I am a teacher so my main goal this summer when I am off...is to make a highly detailed park. When I finish maybe I will submit it or upload it to the steam workshop. The amount of detail is impressive, I hope my ADD brain will be able to focus more on my parks than usual. Lol.
1:07:22 this coaster reminds me so much of Top Gun (now called Afterburn, but it will forever be Top Gun to me) at Carowinds in Charlotte, NC, which is my favorite coaster ever. Thanks for the heavy nostalgia!

I just downloaded this game I played some of the first games when I was younger and loved building the rides. it does take a lot of time building the parks but it's so much fun.
This is my favorite park I’ve seen so far followed by Cyber Slums. The talent and skill these people possess insane. I play this on console and I get so much inspiration from these guys to keep going to finish my park even though the final product is so hard to see and so far away.
That’s appreciated, if you ask the guys that watched the live streams, it was the same for me, at points I wasn’t building we were just chatting life. But persistence is key, always keep the end goal in mind and you’ll get there eventually 👍🏻
Incredibly, I think a previous park of RyRy's that was featured on the channel was, in fact, the Pirate section of this one. It's amazing how much more it could be expanded from there.
The experience of seeing this park is even better in vr! Although not a 360 view it's still amazing, I find myself leaning with the roller coasters, though I wouldn't recommend if you get motion sick easily, I have a pretty strong stomach for vr and I still find myself getting a bit nauseas- amazing job to the creator too it's a gorgeous and breath taking park!

I started out with a PC only powerful enough to place 35k max before the game bugged out, I looked high and low for bargains to upgrade my setup and here we are today, taken 4 years to get to where I am. I’ve learnt by watching many a builders and seeing how they do things and I learn even now new things to the game and there’s still so much I don’t know how to do. All I can say is what I did practise practise practise and always keep your head high as your imagination is endless, learn more about the game and how it works helps a lot dude. I hope to see a build from you in the future that’s better than everyone thinks to this 👍🏻
Instead of the new Tron ride at Magic Kingdom, Disney should've created something like the Space Drop in this video. Coupled with doors, lights, dark, inversions, and thrill - it would've been a phenomenal ride!

It would be really cool if these roller-coaster simulation games would give us the ability to build in coca-cola freestyle/pepsi spire drink stations, like what the universal parks have.
You can do via the theme makers tool kit, there’s a number or branded bits of kit, I try not to use them to much as they make the game run bad if you have too much. Maybe in the future of a mini build, then you can fill it to your hearts content 👏

This is just insanely good. I love the idea of PC... but I could never make something like this (I have tried many times) due to the excruciating amount of time it takes - I'm a simple guy, I play RCT. I really hope that for the second game they improve the frame rates when a park is full, with both rides and people, it's kind of tragic that they always have to be empty.

GHOST is one of my all time faves, it was one of the last coasters I placed in the park as I wasn’t sure what and how I wanted it. It came out great in the end and I’m so happy someone has enjoyed in exactly the way it was made, thank you for the comment and hope you enjoyed the rest of the park 👍🏻
@@RyRy2312 Can I ask where you got your inspiration for GHOST? The "For You!!" sign and plunge into grave gave me major vibes from the 1988 Tim Burton movie "Beetlejuice."
And yes, I love the whole park, there's nothing else like it. it's just that GHOST just felt a little extra special, so it's cool to know that it was one of the last coasters that went in.
@@K31TH3R it’s themed around the lady of the manor that hasn’t quite come to her full resting place, so the coaster floats through the grounds of her manor (perfectly lit trees and grounds, a lot of hang time) and then goes through some spooky passages and grave yard with finally ending up in her resting place (FOR YOU), that was the idea and the end result mimics it perfectly in my eyes. AND my imagination 💭 lol
I have listed all the stories/ideas on the steam description but I think Johnny was enjoying himself he forgot to look or remember like with the pirate area 👍🏻
That giga coaster is perfect! By not having much theming (much), it's themed for everything. The whole park

honestly the wooden coaster is suprisingly smooth considering how expansive the park is. absolutely the coolest park I've seen in a while...

I am a teacher so my main goal this summer when I am off...is to make a highly detailed park. When I finish maybe I will submit it or upload it to the steam workshop. The amount of detail is impressive, I hope my ADD brain will be able to focus more on my parks than usual. Lol.

I just downloaded this game I played some of the first games when I was younger and loved building the rides.
it does take a lot of time building the parks but it's so much fun.

This is my favorite park I’ve seen so far followed by Cyber Slums. The talent and skill these people possess insane. I play this on console and I get so much inspiration from these guys to keep going to finish my park even though the final product is so hard to see and so far away.
That’s appreciated, if you ask the guys that watched the live streams, it was the same for me, at points I wasn’t building we were just chatting life. But persistence is key, always keep the end goal in mind and you’ll get there eventually 👍🏻

The experience of seeing this park is even better in vr! Although not a 360 view it's still amazing, I find myself leaning with the roller coasters, though I wouldn't recommend if you get motion sick easily, I have a pretty strong stomach for vr and I still find myself getting a bit nauseas- amazing job to the creator too it's a gorgeous and breath taking park!

I really am in awe. Also it makes me feel depressed as I don't think I could ever come close to this. Especially as I'm only on console, but still.
I started out with a PC only powerful enough to place 35k max before the game bugged out, I looked high and low for bargains to upgrade my setup and here we are today, taken 4 years to get to where I am. I’ve learnt by watching many a builders and seeing how they do things and I learn even now new things to the game and there’s still so much I don’t know how to do. All I can say is what I did practise practise practise and always keep your head high as your imagination is endless, learn more about the game and how it works helps a lot dude. I hope to see a build from you in the future that’s better than everyone thinks to this 👍🏻

Instead of the new Tron ride at Magic Kingdom, Disney should've created something like the Space Drop in this video. Coupled with doors, lights, dark, inversions, and thrill - it would've been a phenomenal ride!

I would pay such good money to go here in real life. The coaster design is incredible and I'm a sucker for theming, which is done so well in this park.

It would be really cool if these roller-coaster simulation games would give us the ability to build in coca-cola freestyle/pepsi spire drink stations, like what the universal parks have.
You can do via the theme makers tool kit, there’s a number or branded bits of kit, I try not to use them to much as they make the game run bad if you have too much. Maybe in the future of a mini build, then you can fill it to your hearts content 👏

I love the idea of PC... but I could never make something like this (I have tried many times) due to the excruciating amount of time it takes - I'm a simple guy, I play RCT.
I really hope that for the second game they improve the frame rates when a park is full, with both rides and people, it's kind of tragic that they always have to be empty.
Imagine if GTA 6 has a theme park this epic.
