    Best new band of the last couple of years, both their original songs and covers are awesome. Plus they always look like they're having a blast ! 🤘🤘

    This song is 🔥🔥. Dissension is their heaviest song with the most screaming. I recommend Oiran for less screaming and Raitei (mv) for no screaming. Nemophila is amazing and you won’t be disappointed.

  • @christopherjohnferrer3771

    Finally a Nemophila reaction! Now can't wait for your hands on into Hanabie - We love sweets 🧁🌸🤘🎌

    One amazing band Mayu the singer wrote the lyrics and try's to fit the style to the music and for this one the screams fit the theme of the song which is dark and heavy .This is the very heavy end of there spectrum and not typical as they can and do play any thing from hard rock to 90s Punk, metal .Hard core and with the covers Jpop as well .One thing fun is always there go back and watch the gang vocal parts in Dissension to catch Hazuki on left winking at the camera .The two guitarists rocking the 7 strings are at the very top with Saki a guitar goddess in Japan and they can do it all live as well .Bass and drums (the laughing Thunder) if you watch more videos you will see why LOL are unbelievably tight not surprising as Tamu (drums) is one of the best there is male or female .Try Oiran next good idea to do a double reaction there practise room first then the out side live from a few weeks ago as there about 2 years apart and show the progression .Resent CD out two months ago is on its 5 pressing from JPU records uk (distribution)and has all recorded songs to date With a Dissension in English the one here is in Japanese .New album in the works now .

    Never be afraid to be honest in reactions. That's what keeps me subscribed. Yes, as mentioned earlier, Mayu (singer) is quite diverse. She goes from sounding absolutely adorable ("Make you Happy") to scaring the daylights out of you (this song.....and yes, same singer....she just recently changed her hair style). My favorite of their originals is "Oiran". There are two versions: One shot in their rehearsal space, and a stage version they recently dropped. Both are great. Take your pick (....or maybe a comparison video?). They also do great covers of Iron Maiden, KISS, Helloween, Motley Crue, to name just a few. I think you'll fall in love with these ladies as you hear more. Looking forward to the next one!

    One of my four favorite Japanese female hard rock bands, (1) Band Maid, (2) Lovebites, (3) Nemophila and (4) Hanabie. This song is awesome, but Raitei is my favorite song by Nemophila. Check out the MV for Raitei it rocks so hard.

    Nemophila is pure joy to my ears, EVERY thing they have done I absolutely love. If you want some more metal with amazing female vocals check out Jinjer and their music video for Vortex just released in July.

    Nice reaction to this amazing band.
    You really jumped right in at the deep end with what is arguably their heaviest song to date. Please react some more to their other songs and check out their covers too, they’re all excellent.
    As others have said though, there is no I at the end of the name!!
    It’s easily pronounced as Nem O fill A

  • @Kmudaify
    @Kmudaify Před 2 lety +4

    I'll say this about Mayu (singer), she's fearless. She covers everyone from Linkin Park to Kiss to Bruce Dickinson to Babymetal.... and she makes it hers with each song. Her screaming is certainly out of the ordinary but the more you hear it, the better it sounds, and it's rare it plays as much a role in their songs as it does here. The rhythm section has developed the nickname of Smiling Thunder. Watch enough of them and you'll understand why.

  • @outwest1014
    @outwest1014 Před 3 lety +5

    Your look was great, I've had so much fun watching reactors watching Mayu for the first time. The band was put together to give Mayu (singer) a showcase as her previous band broke up. They are all from other bands. What they found was that they meshed well and enjoyed working together, so they are continuing!! Tamu, drums, was a child prodigy and has achieved 200BPM. She is awesome on X Japan covers.
    Recommendation - Life, just be sure to have Kleenex handy.
    One last thing, they do watch the reactions to their MV's, so behave!!

    Next, listen to Oiran (live-in-studio first, to see them close up and personal), then Monsters and Life. Finally, the cover of Don’t Say Lazy. These four songs will show you the breadth of musician (and vocal) styles (Mayu, Mayu, Mayu!) at their command.

  • @clivematthews5296
    @clivematthews5296 Před 3 lety +2

    Probably their heaviest song. They can be quite melodic. And she swaps vocal style as easily as Jinjer who everyone raves about. There are already suggestions for more melodic tracks. The drummer is friends with Lovebites and Band Maid drummers.

    This is a really fun track but it's not really indicative of the rest of their stuff. This was almost like an experiment to see how hard they could go. Most of their music leans more towards hard rock rather than metal. Check out the studio session recording if their song OIRAN for a better idea what they're really about.

      They really mesh hard rock and metal, like many Japanese bands they are not so hung up on genre. I think they lean more toward metal though with double kick and shredding but who really cares they just kick ass. Been into heavy music since the late 70’s and these women are near the top of my favorites already.

    Good reaction. There's a live version if you wanna see them performing this song on stage. One more Japanese female metal band to check out is Hanabie. The song is "We Love Sweets".

  • @Nabeshin1976
    @Nabeshin1976 Před 3 lety +4

    If you're going to listen to Oiran please go with Naon Yaon live version (too much layers missing on the CZcams Version, and probably one string of one guitar is out of tune), otherwise if you're going to listen to Raitei the MV studio version is the best one. Anyway, before going with more heavy songs from them, I deeply suggest you to try something different, where Mayu's gritty clean vocals absoluty shine: the huge sounding and heart-moving metal ballad Life or the groovy hard rock track Monsters (incredibile guitar battle in there).

    Raitei is great song. Music video is good as you can hear both guitarists solos better, taking in each style. Oiran a great song. I recommend Dissension and Oiran live. Dissension live is incredible. Both outdoor venue this year. Mayus scream outside is so good.
    Fighter is great song, very hard rock. Life is a beautiful song , ballad. Life shows Mayus beautiful vocals. Mayu is singer. Saki and Hazuki are guitarists. Haraguchi San is bassist. Murata Tamu is drummer. But yes this song is much screaming. It’s reverse song starts screams then teases clean vocal. But Mayu is one of my favorite singers. This song is written with the harsh vocals. But yes, I highly recommend this song Live. Sounds better live. And song Life for Mayus vocal, song is very emotional. Oiran has screams, not to this level.

    Mayu (the singer) isn't indeed a growler... at least not at the same level of Angela Gossow, Alissa White-Gluz or Tatiana Shmaylyuk...but she has a great clean voice, and at the same time she is able to perform some cool fry vocals.
