Aurora Plastics Factory ! Monster Models and H.O. Racing cars were made here Super Rare Video !!!

Aurora part 1- Many years after the Aurora Plastics company closed at 44 Cherry Valley Road West Hempstead NY, I filmed the building from the ground to the roof to the interior ! These aren’t the best videos but since everything is gone today it’s better then nothing ! At the time of this video a shipping company was using the old offices and factory. Harry in the video was the Aurora Maintenance Supervisor for many years until Aurora sold ! he knew the Aurora factory inside & out and had to also clean out the building after they sold (the stuff that got thrown out today is worth its weight in gold) Harry was a tough Vietnam vet as you can hear from his f-bombs 😂 Harrys garage was packed with Aurora stuff mainly HO cars and Harry would talk to me about how Collector Bob Beers came over and cleaned him out 😳 Harry always felt he sold way to cheap and he brought this up to me many times ! Harry Died a few years ago 😢 watching this video brings back great memories along with my friendship with Harry as he always taught me Aurora !

This is incredible! What year was it filmed? I know the area well, but after 2007. What year did he pass away?

Harry passed a few years ago 😢, video was in the 1990’s

I work nights in West Hempstead and was recently by his house. They built a new house there. It must have been so nice to have the best commute in the world.
