Today we are going to be exploring water and waves and a few different varieties of waves at that! This book is completely inspired by this month's song - I never had intentions of doing anything ocean related...but this is where the song guided me.

When I hear this song it literally gives me the chills. I have loved this song since the first time I ever heard it. Hey voice is so powerful and she uses her range immaculately. It takes great talent and musicality to beat box and turn your voice into several different instruments, making one collective beat. When I learned more about Camille I was incredibly mind blown at her artistry and am happy and excited to share her with you!
Song interpretation:
This song is interesting to me because if your read the translation of the French poem at the beginning it will give you one visualization, but the rest is the song gives you a completely different one. I can honestly say that I have not yet fully interpreted this song yet. And to me that is an indication of brilliance. It keeps me thinking. Wondering what she means. Trying to figure the contrasts between love and all the wave variations. What do you make of the song?

You have gone above and beyond with this one, my friend! STUNNING!! The blues mix so well with each other without feeling cold, if you know what I mean. Instead they feel very relaxing and SERENE! (see what I did there?) And the way you incorporated x-rays, and sound waves...amazing! My favorite though is the Morse Code! I learned MC from my father YEARS ago and have forgotten most of it as it kind of a "dead language" but I was so happy to see (and hear) it today! Brought back GREAT memories for me!! I am a huge beach nut anyway and I like your journal style, so yeah, I love this journal! I would really like to know where you found those crashing waves images that you made journaling cards and tags out of. They are beautiful. I loved the jellyfish idea! And the stamped vellum/painted coral illusion pages were nice too. Job well done!
