We should have had this Grievous from the beginning of TCW. It wasn't awful, I still liked him in the series and his episodes were always some of the best but had he been like that, it would have been downright perfect.
This, THIS was the General Grievous pretty much every fan of his, and even just regular fans of Star Wars, wanted. An unstoppable advancing killing that took great joy in the terror he inflicted upon his enemies. He craved the fearful look in their eyes as he approached, likely the same look many of his own people had before he became their savior, before the Jedi and Republic screwed him and his race over for Republic Credits... He was a monster because that was what his people needed. He was a hero, a messiah, and all he ever wanted was revenge for an total injustice. He was a villain walking a hero's path, which is exactly what you want on your side.
Grievous really is the perfect example of “Hero of Another Story”. Beneath the evil cackling and creepy death mask, the guy was just a soldier who wanted revenge for the slaughter of his people. …granted he tended to get that through slaughtering people. But then again, Anakin committed multiple war crimes so 🤷🏻♂️
1:28 Grievous seriously told the poor girl to run in a mocking tone after he JUST killed her mother! Arrogant, murderous AND badass! Just like he used to be!
The sheer *disrespect* of Grievous here.
Man didn't even take his cape off to move easier he was *that* confident.

Finally, they made Grievous a terrifying monster again!
Love that "RRRUUUNNN" Grievous said
Yup actually makes him more scary that he’d rather mock her than chase her

“I am the leader of the most powerful droid army the galaxy has ever seen!” General Grievous
'Wipe the out, all of them'. Palpatine has taught him well 😎

1:28 Grievous may not have a mouth, but he'd be grinning in this shot.

Let’s ruin it for everyone…… he still got captured and folded up by gungans…😂
And Gungans are still a species of warriors with Jar Jar being the exception.
