    You have an excellent cadence.
    Without hearing what Descartes thought about wax, it makes sense that he'd focus on it as a thought experiment. Wax is a material that obviously transforms from a solid, to a liquid, to a gas, with a release of heat and light energies. Very rich thought space.
    I've never heard the Peripatetic Axiom (nothing is in the intellect that was not first in the senses). A thing must be sensed before it can be known. I don't know if this is a good idea, but i'll think about it.
    Oh, i see. Wax like a seal. The impression of the seal on the wax is analogous to the impression of sensor outputs on the intellect. Something like that?
    The productive evaluation of a thinker with a pen (the resulting system) is an interesting thought space.
    So he used wax to intuit around the science of phase changes. From solid to liquid. Nice.

      Thank you. Re: the peripatetic axiom is helpful to note because Descartes' Wax Example truly poses a problem for the axiom.
