It's really great that with your enthusiasm and support you've gained friendships as such where showmen are comfortable enough to let see behin the scenes. Obviously it's free advertising for them and all that, but it's still great to see. Also, build up videos are not usually as right up and personal really watching how it goes... more of a camera set back! Great stuff guys.
Ah the Rotor / washing machine lol Loved this ride was i was a teenager,was always fun trying to shuffle all the way to the top.There was always a red line about half way up that you weren't supposed to cross,but to us it was target to beat lol
i liked it when you pointed out that the rides today are made easier to build than they used to be cos i traveled with the fair for over 15 years from late 1970s to to the 1990s and the work on the dodgems alone was very hard work especially building the base floor area that took 2 lads to carry each section and there were no mechanical devices to help make it easy
Fascinating video, I've only seen (and ridden) a Rotor once at Boston May Fair back in 2011. Didn't realise how involved the process was to put it all together!

Thanks so much Rob, That camera steps up our game to new levels, I could of gone for what I know and have used for 4 years in the latest GoPro but I wanted to challenge myself with someone new and bring the vlogs to a new level and hopefully it’s paid off... as for the camera gear, I’m still paying that off 🤣🤣🤣

Love seeing these setup videos! I just started restoring 2 old rides in my backyard and have been enjoying researching the history of them.
