I think the kitchen waste is in lieu of store bought fertilizer. The waste of fruits and vegetables provide the natural nitrogen and potassium. Ulitmate organic gardening except for the hardware. The drip system he made allows a slow release of the nutrients into the soil, and I think that helps in not over fertilizing/compost it. The right amount of food for the plants results in lots of flowers which turns into tomatoes.

I dont understand how the kitchen waste is used here. It takes longer then a few days to decompose to the point were it runs out as a liquid. Please explain. Not trying to be critical just want to learn.
Kitchen waste after decomposing into organic fertilizer is rich in nutrients for plants. When waste decomposes, water will flow through holes into the soil to help plants absorb nutrients
