It's satisfying to see that EVEN PENN himself knows that Love (Victoria Pedretti) is, indeed, a icon
I hope Penn gets to direct more scenes in the next season. He perfectly understands what a monster Joe is and I could see him being able to bring narrative justice to Joe's character.

Penn is so talented and this episode was gold for season 4. I find it funny how in denial Joe still is with Love being the one more in the wrong with her being controlling, impulsive, emotional, the infidelity when also, JOE was all those things too. Can’t love one without loving the other, can’t hate one without hating the other as well. I’m excited for season 5.

I wish too seeing as her father somehow knew Joe was alive and sent a hitman after him but she was injected with a dangerous amount of a paralictic through a needle so I doubt she survived that if we’re going by logic

Along with the alter-ego fight club plot twist, the key sequence also reminded me so much of the key sequence in Mr Robot. Which makes me wonder if the writers were inspired by Mr Robot for this season.

Whenever they make the final season (be that season 5, 6, or whatever) I'm hoping that all the girlfriends he's killed (and thinks he's killed like Marianne) come back as hallucinations to taunt and judge Joe constantly throughout the whole season as things start to go horribly wrong for him (kinda like Rhys did but instead of encouraging him to kill they're all just roasting the hell out of him together).

I qon't lie the first half of season 4 was very bland BUT the 2nd half was familiar but new. The 2nd half of this season really saved it! I can't wait to see what lies ahead for Joe.

no i’m pretty sure he’s definitely gonna be in it he even did the teaser and everything and didn’t they already start filming? i think you might be thinking of when Penn said he didn’t wanna do anymore sexual scenes since the first 4 seasons is almost all sex
also another thing you could’ve been thinking of is that Penn originally was gonna turn down the role and not even be in the show which i’m glad he didn’t cuz i feel like anyone else as Joe wouldn’t be the same, but he did end up accepting it so trust me there’s absolutely no way someone else will play Joe and if they do that then ima be so sad

This show works cause besides Joe's criminal activities in the end we hope to escape. Don't make the character "unlikable". The show ends ing good, balanced terms between killer evil Joe and the charming one.. we ll see
