Personally I think the size is fine.
All the have to do is make it so that to trigger the spawn of the Gargantuan Leviathan you have to go way farther and deeper in the Void.

The mod devs should've set boundaries on where certain things can and can't spawn that way your lifepod isn't being eaten by a fish that sucks things into a blackhole
Yeah thats a massive oversight to be honest. Just imagine if reapers spawned inside the aurora interior corridors or below the life pod. The game would be refunded instantly by most people so as a mod this isn't too good since it won't be refunded just uninstalled and given a bad review so they're wasting their own effort
The fact that the GLev is this large is showing me that they are losing control and getting lost in their sauce. It's now bugging out and too large for the game now.

@SlendyPlayz Slendy. The mod is awesome! The adult should stay this size. this size in my opinion is exactly how it should be. I remember you said you would add to the base game. Did u mean it will also be on console? And idea, maybe the adult grows from the previous size, to current. but once it reaches maximum size, then its eyes go red and body becomes more of a blueish color.
Its so big that it takes up too much cpu power that's why it freezes lol.

I can think of thousands of meters worth of nope, right here.
The size is perfect to me. Remember, the reason we wanted the garg to be in the game was to have something absolutely gargantuan(to me the garg right now is perfect.) Maybe it first spawns as the previous size, but gets bigger over time. and also the new model I think should be the permanent one. and also, maybe it would only spawn once you go way farther into the void(2000m+ at the max) that way, the size is still the same(depending on the amount of time played), and the garg is no longer allowed to back-hand the laws of physics and clip through walls. I agreed that it was previously not big enough. This is. Any bigger is what I would consider too much.

Giant adult apear only in the void, place where you shoudnt be any way. Juvenail is in sparse reef if im correct.
You have to be able explor Void for Attlas to be added .Even now Cyclop can be too big some times.

@@hi_-bz7wf The atlas would be a military submarine so it would have weapons like larger torpedoes and lasers to be able to fight off larger leviathans and transport 2 vehicles at a time

Now they need to fix the spawn areas for the next patch lmao. The Bloop giving Anth the business at the start of the video was hilarious, yes; but your lifepod being consumed 5 minutes into your playthrough is game-breaking.

Yo my man Anthomnia, I understand your concerns over the size of the Leviathan, but personally, if its 1:1 to scale with the skull, it gives it a feeling of the real truth of the Leviathan, which is somehow just perfect, and I would be honest and say I felt that the previous size was huge, but it gave a sense that you could still do something against it, which isn't what the supposed Apex Predator of the entire history of planet 4546B should seem. At this size, it truly appears as if nothing can stand up (swim up?) to this thing, that it is the reason the void is devoid of all other lifeforms. It is the Leviathan of all Leviathans.
Not to mention, there might even be a bigger leviathan.

The creatures of subnautica are deceptively large. Even if we assume Riley is the same size as the smallest possible Ark character, each leviathan is absolutely titanic, and the other creatures go from "not much smaller than that" to "can fit in your hand" with little in-between.
It's AI is just terrifying now. It moves slowly and when he spawned the cyclops it just stood there...

I think that's perfect size, and when it comes to accuracy, there's bigger and smaller individuals in all species+the tissue around bones makes the creature bigger than the skeleton.

They could make their own DLC!
They could make a void expansion , with all they added, and more, like a nuclear architect plant which was breached and the bloops mutated, or the deep abyss, where nightmeres live, the entrance is sealed by 6 architect doors, but some still make it through in egg state with their hard, reflective shells, as they float around, these creatures are a hivemind which seek to cause as much suffering to their prey as they eat it, they do not have mouths, they instead eat with their tentacles which "taste" the pain, they thankfully need a certain condition to have other eggs, only found in the abyss, or (unrelated) the calm depths a semi-silent place which bordes the outer void, very little fauna there is aggressive, where the ocean phantoms live, peacefull creatures with translucent wing-like fins, with most of the body covered in a carbon fiber structures blocking the scans, most of their anatomy is unknown, and if you damage one of the pack, not only will they all attack, but with a reaction of unkown chemicals with creates a supervoid and it creates a pressure wave enough to part a cyclops, this is done by secreting the chemicals within buckminsterfullerenes, and breaking them down with electricity from the horns, which have large piezoelectric shards in them, it happens in half a split second, and you do not want to go near one doing this,

I actually had an idea a while back called "Subnautica: A-Void-ance"
You start off in a cyclops just fleeing from the Gargantuan (this was before they made the Gargantuan). The power runs out just as you see a somewhat damaged architect platform in the distance that's near the surface. If you stay in the Cyclops too long then you well.. you die lol. Basically the Cyclops says "Power supply critical, abandon ship to use as decoy". (I personally would like it to talk to you as if it has its own AI from the player just getting to lonely while stranded but that's optional).
All you have in your inventory is a seaglide and spoiled fish. Using the seaglide you swim to the structure (cables stretching down into the black abyss) which has that barrier between water/air so when you enter, you're on your feet. At this point you hear your cyclops explode and if you turn around then you can see the gargantuan swimming towards you. Ahead is a glitching portal from an ion cube being improperly placed, clenched by the container doors. You wrench it out using some nearby scrap which makes it pop out and as you try to catch it, you are sent flying through the structure due to it being rammed by the gargantuan.
When the building returns to its position you hear it roar, the building shaking and you scramble to find the ion cube which has certain spawn areas so you actually have to look around a little instead of a singular spawn. Grabbing it you're thrown again, less hard but if you look out the door way you can see down the gargantuans throat as it now has the building within its jaws, water jetting in as it slowly gets crushed. All of this is time based -l ike from taking too long, nothing is super short of time. It's just designed so if you wait too long fooling around then you die. If you don't get the ion cube into the container area in time then the structure is crushed resulting in your death.
If you do everything correctly and properly get the ion cube in, the portal powers up, somewhat glitchy due to the crushing of the structure. You somehow make it through and are instantly thrown to the floor by water that went through the portal as well before it powers down, now knowing that structure is gone.
Alarms go off where the building is instantly locked down, preventing water to escape. On one end of the room a light grid forms, crossing the room and you suspect death because that's what light grids do. Nope. It just crosses the room before draining the water and once that's done the doors open again.
With yourself finally being able to calm down, Your machine thing attempts to scan the depth you are at. It starts off with numbers slowly going from 1-50 speeding up, getting to 100 has the "00" section flashing numbers as each second passes it goes from 100 to 200 and up to 1000 and then all four numbers are flashing going to 5 digits (10000) still flashing numbers. Once it hits six digits, it stops, goes blank and replaces your depth as "?".
So, as a start you are now in a bizarre area of the architects structure, at unknown depth, nothing in your inventory besides that seaglide and rotten fish and the portal you entered through had its connection severed.

@@vincenttrigg4521 that is better than my idea, which could even be tied up in this, in it, you are a soldier with a research party down to investigate an architect void outpost, but when you get there, a gargantuan leviathan attacks you, and destroys the outpost, the research team goes through the portal, but the power goes out when you are about to enter, and it glitches, you come out on another fallen outpost instead of the one you should have gotten to, it is in the middle of the deep bubble reefs, giant air structures held by algae which secrete a jelly like substance, maintaining the air in a bubble, you explore a bit and find an architect storage facility, there, you speak to an architect, and it teaches you some things to survive out in the void, after some tests and that, the architect enters a databank in a storage medium you build in the facility, a PDA augment, then a base one, etc. not a vessel, it gives you tips, etc. On certain things, and recipes for gadgets, like a prawn suit for that depth, suit for you to not to get crushed into a ball, etc. After, you can leave the bubble reefs and the caves with air to get into the water zones, you'd ask, "why not get to the surface and land?" Well, apart from the fact that there is a Gargantuan leviathan on top of you, you also are days from the shore without the portal, which is what you try to fix

They should really move the bloop away from the shallows to the deeper darker regions.. Not only does its size and appearance lend itself to the deeper but it would create less issues and make some of the more sparse dark regions far scarier. For example the Crag fields which lack major threats, sparse reef (because he ate it all), bottom of the floating islands crater, southern blood trench in the massive open cavern, bulb zone, the dunes crater and mountain lost river crater. Maybe even have them roam deep open water at night... But the shallow grass area just doesn't make sense with the look and size of the creature

meanwhile over here I'm thinking it's likely a machine built to defend the area and since it's on the edge of the void, well, likely got destroyed by a ghost leviathan.
They need to add a thing to help your hearing because if that thing is loud enough to rumble the screen it would bust your ear drums. Like one of the chips that you use for the compass or scanner room hud chip. đ€
The music in the beginning was intended to play in all the Aurora Wrecks, however it ended up playing in only one which just so happened to be the FIRST wreck ever implemented into the Grassy Plateaus biome. Not sure why it only plays there and I assume the devs just straight up forgot to make it play everywhere else lol

I think they should keep the garg throwing itself after attacking the cyclops because if you have the fog on, I just kind of disappears and puts you on edge.

Hey, not sure if you know the moders but if they are ever looking for a new project after this, I have an idea, they could make a mod in which the emperor didnât survive and add something in the emperor facility that says something along the lines of âwith the expiration of the emperor specimen and the release of the Karrah our last efforts have failed, some have begun to discuss taking desperate measures... we have decided to relocate to the voidâ the message would come with coordinates, and take you deep into the void (possibly only accessible by the atlas sub) the moderâs could then have fun building out âvoid environmentsâ populated with only microbial nutrient pools (similar to the lost river) and leviathans of various sizes. The signal would then take you to another massive facility (something by like a precursor city located above as deep trench/cave, this facility would be a âleviathan fabrication facilityâ and it would be revealed that after the death of the emperor and the quarantine of the planet the remaining precursors began using their advanced genetics technology to splice creatures together into new and unique leviathans in a desperate attempt to create another creature that can produce enzyme 42, and maybe even imply that the last one transferred their mind to a leviathan to escape the Karrah, and give the player an option to do the same âleviathan endingâ or maybe they wake up this precursor leviathan and it destroys the facility releasing all the hybrids, or maybe the player could use their splicing tech to figure out some other way of synthesizing the enzyme 42 and curing themselves in which the game would proceed like normal. I donât know just spitballing here. They could call it âsubnautica Dark Waters.â

I totally understand wanting the garg to be accurate size but I totally agree with you that from a gameplay / game development perspective it just doesn't work right now. If they can fix the game to work with this new size that would be really cool, but as it is right now I'd rather have it functioning than accurate. You can just blame it on the lost river garg being an exceptionally large specimen or something.
The mod is not publish yet we need to wait fixing the issues with the new size my friend...

that'd be so monumentally difficult that nobody would consider it. on top of that, the Subnautica devs have asked modders not to port assets between the games.
