oh Well... This is the Best Cover of save a Prayer I heard in 40 years ( yes, the original is from 1982) I recommend everyone to enjoy it live and acoustic from 1993/94 tour of Duran Duran.

@@danpowell7982 Just a guess, but you probably didn't become a fan of bands till you were 9 or 10. So for you a sense of spending 40 years of listening to Duran Duran probably won't reach you until 2028. So come back here in 7 years and only then will his comment make any sense to you. Heck, I venture to bet even his rounding up to 40 years from 39 will seem perfectly legit. But don't feel bad. I'm somewhat of a fanatic when it comes to time as I discovered the arrow of time, Spiral 935: The Holy Grail Spiral of Life thanks to a video by Walter Lewin and an '80s punk band called The Judy's and their song about quantum gravity called Her Wave.
I still have the album on vinyl... from 82. This is a lovely cover.
I am so in love with this song, the piano, the voices, the melancholy that it transmits. When I heard this song, I was finally able to cry after loosing a good friend. I was was in shock and was so sad and mad and in denial that I went silent. So many emotions were going through my head from her loss that I couldn't cry when she died. It's been a few months now and this song will forever have a good place in my heart. I can now listen and enjoy and celebrate life as it is a beautiful work of art. Thank you for bringing us this rendition to a beautiful song.
