Hi. The light just fits onto the back panel of the glass. Just slide the fitting's onto the the glass inside the two triangular cut-outs and then its held in place with the two thumb screws. If you are still struggling I'll do a short video for you :)
Hi. I have denison barbs, espei rasboras, kuhli loaches, cardinal tetras and clown loaches. There are cobalt blue dwarf gouramis in the video too but they died unfortunately.

I looked at one today don't like no lid or top lighting up the room like that
There is a glass cover over the tank but yes, the light is very bright. I may change it for a Fluval Aquasky.
i got one in the end the light is totally inadequate just got a new one miles better

HI did you do any video setting up filter / pipework?
Hi. Sorry I didn't video set up of the filter but it is really simple to do. I plan on doing a video soon on filter maintenance. Maybe that will help!
