Those were the days, Dr. Thomas, thank you. I too, like many others here, cherish memories of having been a part of musical organizations you created--the Tallahassee Community Chorus, in my case. I now live in Berlin, Germany and sing in the church choir of the Serbian Orthodox Church.
The conductor's face is more fascinating to me than most Hollywood Blockbusters. I would like a complete series of videos of this excellent choir as long as we always have one camera on the conductor and have him visible in the corner at all times. I wasn't even singing but when he made the pained expression I felt a deep sense of grief for having disappointed him. Setting that aside, this is an absolutely stunning arrangement, wonderfully performed. "Children don't get weary…" Amen and amen.
This song in my dream brought me here!Go HUG someone today IF they're been vaccinated and Happy Black 🖤 History Month! Blessings and Hugs 💖💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕!
As I was lighting some scented candles while I deep clean my house, this song (which I hadn't heard since my Uni days) bubbled up in my Spirit and I began to sing it! The LORD often ministers to me through song, so I know it was not by chance... It WILL encourage those for whom it is intended. The amazing Professor, Dr. Andre' Thomas who is directing in THIS video IS the man who introduced this song into my life while I sang in Concert Choir at Florida State University School of Music. Enjoy and continue to look to the Author and Finisher of our faith..
A song with relevant last-day application, for it sure is pointing to the imminent return of the King of Kings and The Lord of Lords...it won't be long !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fantastic performance of a truly great song! I've heard a lot of recent performances of this arrangement, but this one is outstanding! When was this recorded? And BTW, thanks for posting it!!!
