Yasser's chess knowledge is amazing and man, his teaching style is soooo great.
We need more of this series. Can't replace the wisdom of years!
You need to start branding and titling these videos as masterclasses. You'll get more views if people know it's a lecture style video.
yep, some sort of identifier in the thumbnail
I agree, I wouldn't have clicked but for Yasser, but this video was actually gold, I kept looking at the title and what Yasser was saying in the beginning with cognitive dissonance. I also disagree with the titling efforts for chessbrah in general, Aman checkmate without moving pieces was badly titled
Agreed, throw them in a playlist
Yasse and masterclasses are synonyms
true
Wow that hour went by really fast I didn't even notice because the topic was too interesting. Thanks to chessbrah and especially GM Seirawan for lessons that actual chess students pay a lot for.
Very instructive video and I am greatly anticipating the next ones to come!
Yeah man, Yasser is amazing, whether he teaches a theory or tells the stories from chess history. He is of the right age to follow new developments and to remember old masters like Fisher, Spasky, Kortchnoy, Karpov and many many others.
Yasser, this course and your pedagogy deserve a double exclam mark !! And I will add "as usual" :)
I can't wait until the next lesson !!
This is a great teaching format! Writing down plans and moves and comparing them to Yasser's really helped me create good ideas and understand the concept of space. I can't wait for the next one!
This is wonderful. Can’t wait for more.
Great video. Great to see Yasser is back with lectures. These are treasure. Keep going please. Push them baby.
KEEP DOING THIS! THIS IS GOOD SHIT! yasser is explaining everything in a very nice manner and pace.
fanTAStic lecture. thank you yasser and brahs.
Wow what a great lesson. Such a talented player and instructor
Great video Yasser & good job Eric bringing Yas on-board.
These are the best. Gotta love Yasser lectures.
Really like your explanations and style of teaching Yasser, I feel like you explain these principles in a way I can easily understand
Yasser is _so_ good at this ...
Listening to this man is so relaxing
Legend! Thanks for the content!
0:45 his eyes shone when he said material XD
I really like it that you talk faster in those videos than in lectures. Much love from Iraq!
Thanks for another great video Yasser!
Thanks for the lecture Yasser!
I watched over a thousand chess lectures and I am yet to see one where Karpov is the hero against Kasparov. Nevertheless another fantastic lecture by Yasser. Thank you chessbrah.
Best Master Series on YT.
like ever, is toooooooooooooooo nice! Ty again, Yasser!
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
to be honest, when i want to relax and sleep, i put yasser vidoes, soothing voice and calm
15:44 Nd3 and c5 with the dark squared bishop staying on the long diagonal just seems to dominate white's Knight on a2, as well as keeping white's light squared bishop a bad bishop.
would be cool to see some analysis of Eric's recent games by Eric himself :) :)
Thank you Yasser!!
LOVE IT!!
I love these lessons
Always a treat
Absolute gold video ❤️🔥
Even if Seirawan talked about politics and would watch every day. I love this guy.
Thanks, Master !
This is the fourth master class session right? Has there been more on twitch?
Yasser was in the top 20 in his golden days, was happy to see a fellow arab reach the top, puzzled me why he retired early. also if you're reading this Yasser you're an amazingly gifted teacher, maybe this answers my question, you explain really well. Thank you
I've always wondered what Islam thinks of chess is it haram ?
@@georgewbushcenterforintell147 I'm not sure, maybe some do? I'm a secular arab, that implies im not heavily religious or religious at all, but I can't imagine why they would thinks it's haram, if anythings it's har(a)m-less. Arabs are pretty asian in culture, as in, they appreciate hard-work, education, erudition, and art even... they hate laziness. Besides some judeo-christian, mostly judeo, views generally speaking... there's no incompatibility that I can see... and this addresses the arab world, not really islam. Islam is a religion, with many sects... so depends on who you ask. Generally Chess is well liked, rivaled by perhaps backgammon, but not loved as much as say Russians do, but I'd say maybe appreciated just as much as china does. After all, we introduced the game to Europe...
What a gift this is
Yeah baby!
Your comment is correct
What a time we live in when we can get this for free, thank you.
Yasser, you are amazing
awesome born teacher
Push em baby!
This is such a great video from such a fantastic teacher... but I can't get over the fact that the top donor at the bottom of the screen is called fuksukswag lol
underviewed content
Nice video
Best Chess teacher ever , like if you agree. Thank you to share with us Mr Yasser Seirawan !!!
Yasser

Yasser is the best chess teacher ever
i was like wtf gm means by space now i know what it means thanks for the explanation now i know what it means
Ooh my
Gold.
my favourite one
Gif't me more yasser
Nice
When is the next session?
What if he playes g3 first? You dont get knight e6 cause the king is there. Someone good at chess please explain. Bishop f1 seems like a much worse move than g3 right away. 35:00
Good vid...
I had the wrong idea about what space is. Your squares dont count, get the other guys squares.
We love Yasser, most wholesome person in the world!
love it!!!
after ...Nd3 why wouldn't white immediately respond with Nc1?
tf you just won a game for Kasparov Kreygasm
Could the one thumb down on this video be from Garry Kasparov?
based
Beat Kasparov then! Jk you're a beast. I totally needed this lesson. Now I'll increase my rating by 700 and will still be under 2000. Lol Thanks Yasser
Yasser did beat Kasparov!
Why the HELL does nobody ever show Karpov's wins over Kasparov?
That would probably be constructive too. People are taken away by Kasparov's sort of wild/aggressive play style and they are wooed by it and they like to show these daring brazen wins. But Karpov's games would be instructive too, as he is brilliant in his own way.
@@peterbedford449 Exactly. Also, not a lot of people know that Kasparov only held a +2 score over Karpov, even though they've played over a hundred games. It's too bad hardly anyone wants to credit Karpov for his wins.
Kasparov's total record against Karpov was something like +3-1=116 in slow chess. They drew a ton. Very few wins for either side.
@@12jswilson Since Karpov had already beaten Kasparov 5 times in their 1984 World Championship match, that record can't be right.
At least I can find old karpov teaches chess videos
.
What? An actual educational chessbrah video?
I think Yasser needs to cheer up.
@dominic amoe Jeez, chill...
Where else can you get a free GM lesson by an ex top player?
Friday's at Starbucks in victorville ca across from Costco
Let's remember GM Seirawan was a super GM in his prime who could defeat the very best on a good day. Is it just my impression or is he too modest to show his own best games?
There are some games of his on the Sinquefield channel I think.

Yasser looks out of place in a neon bedroom a gentlemens smoking room would be more fitting with a big red leather chair and a fireplace in the corner, anyway brilliant lecture thankyou, you got me thinking in a different way .
Could somebody please take away his horse tranquilizers? He speaks like he is falling asleep any Minute.
I feel, like i should pay for this, where can I pay?
