Last year I drove by some of these spots for my kids to see. I went across the Danforth/Greentown, Yorkville, down University through Hospital Row and Queens Park, to Union Station, Old Lawrence, and past my favorite home that always goes all out on Kingston rd past Vic Park. I may do something similar but on foot if I cam get my kids to walk it when they're off next week.

Love the video👍🏻 It brought back so many memories. Financial district is spectacular especially during Xmas time. Two suggestions if I may: inside Brookfield place, go towards the Hockey Hall of Fame, there usually is a stunning massive chandelier. Not to be missed! And check out the EY building as well on Adelaide street. Gorgeous decorations….

Toronto city hall really disappoints with the Xmas decorations on the city streets. Toronto is supposed to be a world class city and what do you find ? no decorations in the main square of the city Dundas Square, Yonge St. has no decorations and it feels like the mayor and city hall just gave up or are being lazy. With a city budget like Toronto , this is outrageous and I am ashamed as a Torontonian. Just watched a video in a city of 300,000 people in Europe (Craiova) and they have better Xmas decors than Toronto. Ok, maybe the distillery has some nice decorations, but I think the mayor really failed and neglected the Xmas spirit, he should watch the movie Elf and sing some Xmas carols, maybe it will get to his heart and start spending some cash. While I am ranting here, I'll tell you something else, the new year eve fireworks are so lame, these fireworks are maybe at a level of a village in Siberia. Come on Toronto, for a city with condo prices of $600,000 for 2 bedrooms, you got to step up your game ! Or, maybe, keep this up so at least the condos will be affordable again ! :D
