There was def a conversation between Jeannie and him before Magic announced this, despite what he said. The old quit or your fired White House style.

I am confused here. Who traded Russell and Randle? Did Walton do it or did Magic or Pelinka do it? Could it be that these guys were pretty good and shouldn't have been traded? Perhaps as Dan said they weren't patient enough with them, and then Magic tries to blame Walton for it by saying he doesn't develop talent. Something fishy here my friends.

It drives me nuts when people say, “Magic is a successful businessman.” No, he’s not. He’s been a successful investor thanks to hiring smart people who make and manage his investments. However, when has he ever created a product or a service? 🤔 When has he ever led a company? 🤔 He hasn’t. I have no problem crediting him for smart investing, but let’s not get it twisted and say that he’s a smart businessman.

1994 to 2004 Golden State was a sub 500 team. Lakers won three championship in that time, San Antonio was becoming dominant and then Miami. Patience.

the warriors from 1995-2012 made one playoffs and never won 49 games in a season..from 1991-2012 won 1 playoff series 1978-2014 they won 5 playoff series and never made the west finals....they lost in round 1 in 2014..curry had bad ankles...green was seen as a reach..bogut iggy and lee looked like bad contracts for their lack of production..until kerr saved the day...same thing in 99..kobe and shaq were at each others throats but phil came in saved the day..phil saved the day in 2005 when kobe was mad...pat riley from 2001-2003 and 2007-2008 was terrible as a coach ...without pop and r.c. who knows if the spurs win any title...sports dynasties aren't organic...look at the 03 pistons after making the east finals with a team he groomed from scratch firing rick carlisle for larry brown who before the rasheed trade was losing the team and left anyways the next year and after the gm drafted darko...like its hard to stay on top...the warriors without kd wouldn't be where they been the past 2 years...its just facts...okc would be...the rockets without the harden move who knows...its all about luck and circumstance..

Pelinka is proxy for Kobe. Everybody says it. Who on the all time list,
benefits the most from Magic's legacy tarnished and for looking like a
clown by the way he quit yesterday (clashing with Pelinka) and who
benefits the most from Lebron never winning another chip.... and staying
behind them on the all time list. Who is controlling and in Pelinka's
ear all the time. Who? I love Kobe... And I know Kobe is playing chess
right now from a distance. But if you're a Bron fan (I'm not) you gotta
have Kobe and Pelinka out of there... Kobe loves the Lakers... Sure. But
mostly Kobe loves Kobe first... Like we would all do. I don't blame him.
Pelinka gotta be out for Lebron to have a chance! Clean slate Jeannie!

Such an unprofessional way to handle things. He sold LeBron on going to LA and he wasn't even all in himself. LeBron chose this garbage over the Sixers smh. Magic should call LeBron and apologize for this. He owes him that much respect at least.

Lebron/Lakers, bad combination. Leave Luke alone and give him a chance. Find young talent and build a team, it takes time. Everyone thought the Lakers would be a great team this year - not. There are too many good teams to worry about the Lakers.
